This recent story on Paul by Miranda Sawyer for “TheObserver” part of “theguardian” is refreshingly tart and wryly askance (for those of us who tire of the vanilla prose of idol adulation).

Among the many interesting things she notices at Hogg Hill Mill, Paul’s recording studio, where she interviews him, there’s this:

He [Paul] keeps up with music through listening to the radio – Radios 1, 2, 3, Heart, Absolute –and he has a chap who makes him up playlists of club or student sounds.

Good gig!  Imagine getting paid to do that!
