Isn’t it? I’ve gone through it 4 times (so far) and am still discovering new sounds and layers to it, as well as learning the words. And the hooks, well they just get stuck in your head like they always do with Paul 
For an album with such a variety of styles and sounds, as well as 4 producers, it sounds very cohesive and as a whole is very tight. He’s still got it 8)

Offline Thank goodness for leaks. We had a holiday yesterday, so mine won’t get here until I’m back from work today. I might pick up the lighted cube one during lunch if possible, though.

Offline I got my copy of NEW today and the light cube…of course I get the one cube that doesn’t work! 
I had reserved my cube at my local shop on Friday, and when I went today the guy gave me the one randomly sitting on the counter. When I said I’d reserved one, he said “oh!” and opened the drawer where they were and I saw the one with my name on it. Then he said “ah, someone else can have that one” and tossed the counter one in my bag. Got home and…nothing. No light. And I’m sure they’re all sold out now (there were only 2 copies of NEW left on the racks when I was there and I saw THREE people ahead of me in line buying it!).

On Sunday I ordered a copy from Streetlight Records. The website said it would come with the cube. I got an email from them earlier today saying that their website was supposed to block all orders of it until today. The rep said that they were selling the cubes to walk-in customers first. But, I just got an email from her saying she is shipping me the cd and cube.
The cube is already on ebay. The buy-it-now prices range from $120 to $249.99 (and then it has or best offer next to each one).
There is one being bid on that is at $54.

Yeah, for a cube. It’s a moral crime. Too bad all the cubes didn’t make it into the hands of true fans.
I guess that’s why Ringo doesn’t want to do autographs any more.

Offline I’m on my second listen through. Standout favorite as of now: “Early Days .” I was nervous to hear it was a naked vocal, as I am one of those who has certain issues with Paul’s aging voice. But this is perfect; this is the perfect treatment of his voice, flaws and all. Just perfect. I love every little rasp and wobble. I would listen to a whole album of him singing like this. Gorgeous acoustic sound, too. And it’s just a great song; it makes a nice warm weepy knot in my chest.
