I saw a short clip in a TV program about 10 years ago of The Quarrymen captured on black and white cine/8mm playing on a float at what looked like the Woolton Church Fete from memory. I haven’t been able to find the clip since. Can anyone send a link?

Regarding the question posed. I don’t remember seeing any footage from the day John met Paul, only hearing audio and seeing photos.

There are videos that string together stills from that day with Quarrymen audio. I don’t believe there’s live action footage like that. There’s a scene in Nowhere Boy that’s a nice facsimile though!
