- Klaus Voormann – bass
- Phil Spector – piano on “Love”

Mal was the odd job man, ask for anything and he’d either have it already or get it. Making the tea would have been one of the many functions Mal would have been incredibly happily doing and sympathy as he was always there, friendly, a great lestening ear, and made some damn good suggestions for the music. One of the few people who really deserves to be included in the Beatles and solo story

He is definitely my favorite member of ‘the crew’.
For those of you who don’t know, I was set to name my dog Malcom. When we adopted a female dog instead, I named her Lily after Mal’s wife.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
