But that would be bad publicity.
Any publicity is good publicity. Thus, reality TV.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

I just hope he nor any of Beatles children avoid doing reality TV.
Oh god, the very thought is appalling. *shudders*
I meant reality TV and Beatle children as unconnected events.

Not neccessarily, it depends on how you see it or spin it. Julian said 'im being phased out', hence the story “beatle son ignored by beatles and co”, a bit of sympathy, hardship. You see it all the time, newpaper stories going for the sympathy angle and ignoring the complete story, because it sells. The Xfactor thrives on people's hardships in life, its who they favour when chosing the contestants. The harder your life has been the more chance you have of getting on.

That “written out of history” remark is pretty ridiculous – dude, NOBODY'S ever gonna forget who your father and Cynthia's first husband was. (Your solo career: Now, that's forgettable.)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Apparently, he later said in the comments (and then deleted again), that with Paul, it was never about love, or some such s**t. If he has something negative to say about Paul, I wish he would just come out and say it. I mean, we all know Paul isn't perfect or anything, so he could have done something shitty. I wish Julian would just stop beating around the bush about it…it's annoying as hell. He says just enough to stay out of trouble, but get a little attention at the same time. I wonder why, after all these years of little to no contact with Paul, he feels the need to start trouble now…why he feels he is entitled to a wedding invitation. He has said in the recent past that he and Paul are not close, so why should he expect anything from him? I get that maybe he wants to feel close to Paul because Paul was close to his father, but Jesus, the man is almost 50 years old! Throwing around accusations without backing them up is a little childish, and now that he has broken a central Beatles and Paul rule of “thou shalt not speak of that which is personal in nature,” he is going to have an even harder time being included in Beatle related events. And for the record, I don't know why he is complaining over not being invited to George's documentary premiere or the Love show because a few years ago, he didn't even show up at the premiere of a movie he helped make.
From starpulse.com:
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Telegraph, “Everyone waited for Julian to turn up at the showing of The Gathering: Return Of The Whale Dreamers, which attacks the Japanese whale industry, but there was no sign of him. Eventually he sent a message via the director explaining his absence: 'Society is obsessed with superficiality and celebrity, so it is more important for me to be there in spirit if not in person.'”
If celebrity is so superficial that he can't even show up to that, why would he want an invite to another superficial celebrity event. The more I think about it, the more I think Julian is behaving in a paranoid, childish way. If we knew all the facts about all of their relationships, my thoughts on that may change…but Julian seems content to keep everyone in the dark while throwing around baseless accusations and fronting a woe-is-me attitude.

This isnt the first time Julian has ranted about some past hardship, who hasnt who knew John. Beatles and John Lennon stories get interest, this is another. And the world yawned, tried to remember who Julian is, gave up and returned to the really important world of mobiles, celebrity and tv reality shows.

Haha…true, true. In other words, stop dwelling on it. You're right, of course…I shouldn't be dwelling on it. I'm just curious, is all. I do have much better things to do with my time than think on this. I will make the effort to quit thinking about it. (I'm being serious here…not sarcastic. It is silly to keep thinking about it.)

I can’t blame him for feeling he and his Mom are being erased of John’s history thanks to Yoko.
So sad, so true. I see many people don’t agree with me on this, but I think mithveaven is right.
