Does anyone have a comprehensive list of all the guitar solos John played on Beatles songs? Sure, I know about You Can’t Do That , The End , and Get Back . But, surely there must be more, right?
I know he wasn’t great at lead, but was a good rhythm player. Still, I’m curious about his solos. Thanks so much!
If I were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one album with me, it would be Revolver.
I just hope that I would have some means of playing it. Ha ha!

Just to add to your list: Long Tall Sally and Yer Blues There are two solos in those songs (here’s a link to john playing Yer Blues live). John plays the first one in both.
I am not sure about I want you (She’s so heavy) and Hey Bulldog but i’d say it’s John doing the solos. The former because it’s not very difficult really and it’s John’s song after all… and the latter because it shares certain similarities , at the beginning of the solo, with the riffs and licks and solo that John does in Get Back … but this is only speculation , you know.

Long Tall Sally (1st solo)
Nowhere Man (in unison with George)
Hey Bulldog (John or George)
It’s All Too Much (John or Paul)
Birthday (John does higher octave, Paul does lower octave, George does bass octave)
Yer Blues (1st solo)
I Want You (She’s So Heavy) (main solo)
The End (guitar truel with Paul first, then George, then John)
