Anyone know if there’s a recording of The Beatles performing this in The Cavern Club?
There isn’t. There are only a handful of recordings from the Cavern Club known to exist.
Available to the general public/on bootlegs:
September 5, 1962 performance:
Some Other Guy
Kansas City /Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey!
October 1962 rehearsal in an empty Cavern Club:
One After 909 (Performance 1)
One After 909 (Performance 2)
Catswalk (Performance 1)
Catswalk (Performance 2)
Known to exist, but unavailable for listening:
July 1962 performance bought at auction by McCartney:
Hey! Baby
If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody
Hippy Hippy Shake
Sharing You
Your Feets Too Big
Dizzy Miss Lizzie
I Forgot to Remember to Forget
Shimmy Shake
Young Blood
Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)

I love both outtakes, take 2 and take 11 (the one used on ‘Anthology’ and in the ‘Imagine ‘ boxset). Both have great John vocals yet are notably different, take 2 more shuffling and a pleading restraint, the funky guitar is so cool, whereas take 11 is much more in your face and desperate.
Cannot find the unedited take 11 online so here is the very nicely done edit.
