Offline Still, this song is really an exciting development, since the vast majority of people, even hardcore John fans, probably never knew of this track beforehand. It’s much the way Paul, George and Ringo didn’t know about Free As A Bird and Real Love before Yoko sent them the tapes.

Offline Oh god. I get images of Paul, Ringo and Giles spending weeks creating a new Beatles version of ‘Radio Peace’ with a digitally recreated George solo added which is then shoved out with Apple telling us it’s the third coming whilst people claim it’s as valid a Beatles recording as ‘She Loves You ‘ is.

Offline That would be ruefully funny, though obviously, if Now And Then isn’t getting any closer to being released, despite all the big talk Paul has made over the years, then it’s clearly a nonstarter, so nothing to worry about there!
