I found this box set for 29.99 at a used book store yesterday and I’m enjoying it so far, even though apparently they used noise reduction on most of the tracks. It has the three Madison Square Garden live tracks with Elton John on it (the only time they have appeared on CD), and also a version of Every Man Has a Woman Who Loves Him with John doing the vocals instead of Yoko.

I’ve never heard of that box set. I wonder if that version of EMHAWWLH is the same one on the 2000 reissue of Milk And Honey . If I’m not mistaken the original version has Lennon’s vocals buried under Yoko’s, and so his version is just the song with Yoko’s vocals stripped away.

Yes, I think it is that one. I don’t have that 2000 CD.

The 2000 Remixes are an odd set of John reissues. Most of the CDs have bonus tracks tacked on them.
PLB has Power To The People and Do The Oz as bonus tracks.
Imagine has no bonus tracks.
STINYC is one disc with the 10 tracks from the first disc, 3 of the live tracks, and Happy Xmas and another song as bonus tracks.
Mind Games & W&B have bonus tracks that consist of Demos/Live versions of 2 or 3 songs from the respective album.
Also the cover of W&B is the picture of John wearing a bunch of glasses in place of the traditional cover. It might be the picture from the back cover but I’m not positive
RnR has like 4 unreleased Classic Rock covers as well as a reprise of Just Because
DF and M&H have a variety of Demos from the respective album{and sometimes from the other album) and some unreleased tracks.
I only have a couple of albums from this set, but I know that the 2000 remix tracklists are on the Wikipedia pages of the respective albums if you’re curious of the exact contents.
Sorry a bit off topic, but there you go.
