Keeping a very, very special person in my thoughts today – a man taken too soon, who contributed so much to the modern world.
Happy 81st, John.

Never got the reasoning behind wishing happy birthday to dead people. But it’s nice to remember John.
Same here but I generally give no thought and get on with nothing doing.

Happy posthumous birthday!
What a brilliant photo!
I know, eh? Thanks…I found several pictures of John riding Ronnie Hawkins’ snowmobile and other winter vehicles while visiting Hawkins’ farm on the outskirts of Toronto in December of ’69, after googling John and Ronnie’s names; I’m pretty sure I’d not seen those before (or forgotten if so). I can’t really think of any other images of a Beatle in snow, aside from the “Help !” Austrian stuff.
