I hope we haven’t scared @Boris off with our anti-social media talk. Nor do I think the parody was talking down to anyone, more as a parody of a keen facebook fan. I am glad facebook isn’t the only thing around though, it’s bad enough living in a surveillance society without having the choice of who is snooping on you 
I wonder how anyone can be the next big thing when everyone is looking so hard for it on the internet and ready to be the first to strike it down or exploit it. So my tip is, keep it off the internet until you’re ready, get organized, and then spring it on them before they have the chance to control it. You can’t do anything about the response, though, except not respond in a way that becomes a new story.
