Before I begin I’d to say that I searched for a bit I didn’t find anything like this so sorry if there already is.
There’s nothing new about John, how could it be ? I love that man, he’s an example to me, after so many years of angriness he became a peace lover, I always thougth of things like, if he was still here the world we live in wasn’t the world we know now, he could have changed the world don’t you think ? Imagine , he could have spread peace everywhere don’t you think ? And do think he still play like our Paul, do think he would have reunited sometimes like Paul and Ringo did last 9th February for the 50 years of the Ed Sullivan Show ? I love imagining those 4 guys still playing now. Unfortunatly God needed George for a Sitar lesson(god bless him) and John for a, a what ? A life lesson ? He changed a lot because of Yoko don’t you think ? I don’t blame him, he was in love you know, women can change a man we say. Or he just grew up a little ?
And the deepness of Imagine , it’s just perfect, I don’t really listen to the post Bealte John (because of Yoko I think haha !) exepte for the Imagine and Rock’n’Roll albums there are great.
This topic is full of questions and really messy but I just want to speak about our Liverpudlians of today.

I love that little fill Ringo does at the end… That clip never gets old…
I wonder what his opinions would be of current musical ‘artists,’ Miley Cyrus for example.

Try his album Mind Games — it’s my favorite. Though the critical reception was lukewarm (you can find the essay on this written by the Beatles Bible website owner Joe, by clicking on the “discography” tab up top which shows how most of the reviews didn’t much care for the album), I think they’re all full of it.
It’s a great album with lots of the heart and genius of John in it. In a way, it shows musicianship superior to Paul — which is quite an admission from me, since I’m a die-hard Paul fan.

Thanks guys I listened , I can’t say superior to Paul, a part porheps for the lyrics who always are deeper, and the music construction always Like John songwriting you know hahaha. It’s too different from John to compare, both are in a way trying new things. But seriously, I don’t attach to those songs, I way prefer the Beatles so right now I’m going to leave for listenning to Let It Be . Peace

I sometimes think of John’s imaginary Twitter and wonder what he’d rail about on any given day.

I think John would have been very vocal and outspoken on the wars, killings, uprising etc going on in the world, challenging the powers that be on it all and speaking up for those who are or he felt were being left ignored.
Twitter he would have loved for having a medium he would instantly post his thoughts, responses feelings and word play on.]
Music he would have been very open to but also willing to speak his mind about what he liked and disliked, as he was when he was alive.
Would have been great to have someone famous who wouldnt have been up his own backside, didnt take life or himself too seriosuly, and didnt cater to politicians, leaders etc.
All my opinion and who knows how it would have been but thinking about this and typing it out just reminds me of how much i miss the guy and it makes me sad. 25 years on and its still horrible why he isnt here.

If John was here today… we would have had another 24 years of Lennon, people would probably be pissed that he still loved Yoko, and we would probably have had a real Beatles reunion.

I think John most likely would of had a very successful solo career in the 80’s.He still had it musically. I wonder what his opinion would have been on grunge bands like Nirvana. I think him and Paul would of eventually written together again not in The Beatles format though. I wonder when he would call it quits though. Paul just keeps going and thats what drove John out of retirement. I’d definitely see him taking extended hiatuses to reenergize creatively. Yeah he would of loved the internet and social media. Also feel that charity concerts would of been big for him. Maybe him and Paul would of headlined the 9/11 benefit concert. Guy was really unpredictable though, but always kept you wanting more.

I wouldn’t necessarily be happy with the decision, but I wonder if John would’ve ever followed through with what he told George Martin he’d like to do one day: re-record some Beatles tracks he felt weren’t properly realized first time around (“Including ‘Strawberry Fields Forever ‘? “Especially ‘Strawberry Fields Forever .'”)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Good question…guess it depends how satisfied was he with Spector’s final version, ultimately.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

If John were here today, I hope I’d be able to get good seats to his concert this year like I did for Ringo and Paul.
