Wallace and Gromit built a space ship and met the robot up there.
If you haven’t seen it you should set aside the time and do so. Its quite brilliant.

Very cool! But I always thought Wallace was a farmer and Gromit was a sheepdog!

May be confusing things. But that’s a common theory. Tasty cheese!

Nobody said that any mission into Space doesn’t have dire risk involved, and I’m not sure specifically which Astronauts that you are referring to, but I believe that most (if not all of them) lost their lives in accidents here on Earth before they even ventured off into Space (Landing Pad accidents, etc.), and if any Astronauts did indeed lose their lives in Space during some Voyage to The Moon, how does this prove that the Actors in that 1960’s B-Movie in fact really landed on The Moon? and even more amazingly, safely returned home afterwards?!
Far too many American Soldiers lost their lives senselessly during the last Iraqi War, so does this fact emphatically prove George W. Bush’s claims that Saddam Hussein was truly in possession of “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, just because that’s what was broadcast Internationally on TV? Look, anybody is free to believe what they will, and many want to believe that the U.S. accomplished the impossible back in 1969, while others refuse to believe that they could possibly have fallen for such nonsense, but there’s considerable evidence showing that there’s no way in hell that those pictures are as advertised the deeper that you look, and any evidence saying otherwise is VERY suspect, to say the least…:-)
Iraq War compared to Space race is apple to oranges. I cannot compare events like that. I also don’t support war. I know many believed hoaxed. I am looking at facts we do have. The last US astronauts lost was in 2003 on its re-entry after a two week repair mission. Russia lost way more astronauts I don’t think anyone will ever know how many they lost. But if you look at the time line from Sputnik to the international space station. The moon makes perfect sense on a time line. Followed by satellites to SDI to these technologies making it to the private sector and impacting businesses. Also there was so much spying going on that I do believe it would of leaked one way or another. We have documents with Majestic 12 acknowledgement but no one can find a trace of the hoax? Theres always a paper trail. Some one could of sold that for 100s of millions of dollars.

I think we’re veering off topic here. But I’m happy to continue the discussion on the Into the Sky with Diamonds thread in the Books section.

Wonder why the aliens a warring and how the Beatles fit in with that. Did John Lennon ‘s “were more popular than Jesus” comment spark the war?

In space no one can hear you scream. That means if the Beatles performed for aliens, they would need to practice first to make sure they were in tune.
They can’t hear you scream but they can hear you sing “She Loves You “? That’s just weird!

I would assume that aliens can hear things where they live. I could be wrong, though. They could all be deaf mofos.

Incidentally, Micheal C. Luckman (The UFO Researcher referenced from the Original Post) will be the guest on George Noory’s ‘Coast To Coast AM’ Radio Show this coming Friday (June 27th) if anybody is interested, you can tune into any station using this guide http://www.coasttocoastam.com/stations
and here’s his Bio from the site:
“Michael Luckman is director of the New York Center for Extraterrestrial Research and founder of the Cosmic Majority, an organization that seeks to advance the views of the majority of people living on planet Earth who believe in UFOs, life on other planets throughout the Universe, the paranormal, the New Age and the sanctity of the environment.
He taught the nation’s first college course on rock music at the New School for Social Research in New York City in 1971. Luckman’s freewheeling “Underground Tonight Show” live on cable television in New York City paved the way for popular television programs like “Saturday Night Live.” He also produced several major UFO conventions in New York featuring rock and folk musicians and is the visionary behind the Signal to Space Concerts, a historic event that will beam live rock and pop music to Mars, the Moon and other locations in this Solar System and beyond in the hope of making contact with extraterrestrials.
In his role with the New York Center for Extraterrestrial Research, Luckman announced the discovery of two human-like faces on Mars photographed by NASA’s Global Surveyor, was the first investigator to expose television’s infamous “Alien Autopsy” footage as a hoax, and broke the story of a special initiative by billionaire philanthropist Laurance Rockefeller to open the government’s secret X-files.”
Tune in and some of your questions regarding Music in Space just might be answered…:-)

Well NASA did play “Across The Universe ” into space in 2008 I believe (http://www.nasa.gov/topics/uni…..verse.html ). Maybe aliens heard it and traveled back in time and visited John in 1974 as mentioned in the Walls And Bridges notes.
