@Expert Textpert Hell, I don’t disbelieve in life elsewhere in this big universe we’re a small dot in! I just don’t believe the aliens gave us The Beatles!

For a man who was under so much surveillance, to have departed the way he did is just incomprehensible. His sad departure and that too at the time when he was beginning to pull his life together, leaves so many ‘what ifs’ in terms of his future, the future of the music, politics etc that its just plain said. And, no, I dont believe in the alien theory.

I don’t believe in aliens so I think it’s safe to say that the reason why John died was Mark David Chapman.
I don’t believe in aliens whatsoever, either.
But, as far as the ‘conspiracy’ side of this goes goes, some people just can’t accept a simple explanation like “a mentally ill man who had his heart set on killing John Lennon shot and killed John Lennon .” That’s where many (if not most) of these “theories” come from. They take something with a fairly simplistic, straightforward explanation – and many of these may involve extreme negative emotion, such as assassinations, etc., which hints at why they do this – and give it a more exciting and sexy explanation, no matter how ridiculous.

As Elvis Presley was fond of saying, there are no coincidences, and there is more to life than what meets the eye.
John’s death was not just as simple as “that crazy guy shot him.” There is always something beneath the surface of any situation.
And what if Stanley Kubrick did film the moon landing? I’m not saying he did, but I can’t really tell a difference between 2001 and the moon landing films.

Mass Media Outlets are under extreme control by powers which most of the population doesn’t even acknowledge exists, we’re supposed to accept everything reported in “a fairly simplistic, straightforward explanation” and not dare question it which the majority of us who can afford subscriptions to CNN, etc. in fact do. Was the “death”, or Break-Up of The Beatles “simplistic” or “straightforward”? or how about JFK’s assassination? Of course there’s much more to just about ANY story and if you don’t ask “why?” you’ll never get any real answers. EVERYTHING that’s broadcasted to the masses is calculated, nothing influences the population like the media does and you’re only fooling yourself if you truly believe that “they wouldn’t dare lie to us about something so important on National TV”. Where’s your evidence that “a mentally ill man who had his heart set on killing John Lennon shot and killed John Lennon “? What you read in the paper? or watched on TV?! Barbara Walters?!!
Misinformation is one of the single greatest weapons used on humans in this modern era, a lot of what’s highly dramatized IS actually some of the most accurate info out there, but it’s automatically rejected by the masses for how it’s presented as “ridiculous”, the Spin Doctors accurately predict your “it’s just another conspiracy theorist” response and the cleansing process is all ready well under way. Sometimes all it takes is ONE f*****g word to make it happen and in the case of John Lennon , all it takes is the ONE SYLLABLE! Tack on “man” to the last name of the source and no one will take them seriously! Let’s heavily plug an obviously fabricated piece of nonsense by an Albert Goldman and a wild article by one Micheal C. Luckman based heavily off of a taken out-of-context quote from Yoko Ono to discredit ANY alternate Lennon Assassination papers, that way Phil Strongman‘s book with some smoking gun evidence showing that that A*****e DIDN’T in fact “act alone”, as he was so bent on trying to convince the Police on the night of Decemeber 8, 1980, will be given the same dirt rag treatment as them, mission accomplished.
Ironic that the supposed 1969 Lunar Landing was brought up, one of the best examples ever of how the population was fooled by TV. If you wanna see where that footage was actually filmed then just watch the classic James Bond movie ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ and you’ll see the actual film set that was used, the truth is hidden in plain site and very “straightforward”…:-)

Luckman claims it was these messages of peace and love which led to Chapman – who is still incarcerated in prison for shooting the musician – being targeted by rival aliens determined to stop the ‘Gimme Some Truth ‘ singer from spreading his messages of love.
Luckman added: ”When Chapman blamed the devil for ordering him to kill Lennon, he may have indeed been operating under the influence of negative entities who were upset with John’s universal message of brotherhood and wanted to stop him dead in his tracks before he could become even more powerful.
How does he explain the fact that “The A*****e In The Orange Jumpsuit” previously flew all the way from Hawaii to NYC without killing John Lennon , flew all the way back home, and then flew to NYC again to carry out the deed. Were they Indecisive Rival Aliens? Were they “negative entities” with a decision making disorder? Were they warring amongst themselves? “Kill him! No, don’t kill him! OK, kill him!”
PUH-LEASE!!!
Even if you do believe in little grey men (more power to you), this one has to be hard to swallow.

I’m not saying that the media doesn’t ever lie or that you shouldn’t question what you hear and think critically, BUT being logical, realistic, and rational is also important to critical thinking (one could say, it is critical to critical thinking). This “theory” has none of these attributes.

By the way, is anyone aware that when Chapman flew the second time to New York, he didn’t actually buy a ticket to New York? He intended to visit his grandmother (I forget where she lived but someplace like Chicago) and bought a ticket there with a return flight to Hawaii. This was verified by airline personnel. When he got there, something or someone changed his mind. Maybe someone called him or visited him and said “Catcher in the Rye..do it…do it..”? I saw a photograph that showed where someone had altered his plane ticket to make it look like a direct flight to New York.

So, not only were the aliens indecisive, they also had a lousy sense of direction.

I read somehwere that he had a supposed list of people he planned to knock off if this one didn’t pan out. I forget who as on it…Elizabeth Taylor?
Anyway, I don’t find that very likely. I also don’t buy that he was a Beatles fan. The report that he had Beatles and John Lennon tapes on him when he shot John is not true. He was a huge Todd Rundgren fan, but had almost no interest in The Beatles.
