If those are the lyrics, of course. I’ve listened to that song a few times, trying to figure out where they sing those supposed lyrics. Some are audible, but most of it sounds like they could be singing anything. To me, there appears to be a lot of McLennon projecting going on in the mind of the person posting those ‘lyrics’. Just like the PID clues: if you listen close enough, trying to hear a certain phrase, you’ll probably hear it. Everyone else might be hearing something else (or nothing at all) though.
FWIW, everybody knows John and Paul loved each other very much: like brothers. They also seemed to share a certain sense of humour. If anything, this sounds like a rather random jam, just two best mates having fun and making up silly lyrics. Even if the words imply “Something “, to me it just shows they’re comfortable enough with themselves and each other to not be bothered by it, just like they never bothered to change “Boys “, though that triggered some discussion too.
I’m not getting any McLennon vibes from it, but it does illustrate how much fun they had in the early days. The same kind of fun you hear in the LP outtakes, the same fun you see on Paul and George’s faces when they do their signature “oooo’s” et cetera. It always makes me so happy to see the lads enjoying themselves so much. This recording seems to be fit into that.

Indeed @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<. If you want to find something and go looking with the kind of thing such as McLennon you will regardless of whether its there or not. To take a crappy quality tape, decipher the lyrics (which arent at all clear) and pronounce them to be not only correct but clear evidence that Paul and John had a more intimate relation is throwing down a pebble before trying to cross the Atlantic by foot.

That can’t be McLennon because of Paul’s irremovable heterosexual!

Then again… That pink suit he wore during the Beatles’ Day Out? We might be onto something here…

Maybe you’ll be able to gather more evidence on the seventh of June.

In a wide-ranging interview with ‘The Daily Beast‘ Yoko discusses John’s sexuality. A large part of the interview discusses John’s murder and as some folk dont want/like to read that i’ve copied and pasted the relevant section below.
I ask if she has ever had sex with a woman, or been attracted to them.
“Well, that’s another thing. John and I had a big talk about it, saying, basically, all of us must be bisexual. And we were sort of in a situation of thinking that we’re not [bisexual] because of society. So we are hiding the other side of ourselves, which is less acceptable. But I don’t have a strong sexual desire towards another woman.”
Have you ever? “Not really, not sexually.”
One online satire imagined an affair between Ono and Hillary Clinton.
“It’s great,” Ono laughs. “I mean, both John and I thought it was good that people think we were bisexual, or homosexual.” She laughs again.
What about that old rumor that Lennon had sex with Beatles manager Brian Epstein (which was also the subject of the 1991 film, The Hours and The Times)?
Lennon himself said: “Well, it was almost a love affair, but not quite. It was never consummated. But it was a pretty intense relationship.” Later, Lennon’s friend Pete Shotton, said Lennon had told him that he had allowed Epstein to “toss (w**k) him off.”
“Uh, well, the story I was told was a very explicit story, and from that I think they didn’t have it [sex],” Ono tells me. “But they went to Spain, and when they came back, tons of reporters were asking, ‘Did you do it, did you do it?’ So he said, ‘I did it.’ Isn’t that amazing? But of course he would say that. I’m sure Brian Epstein made a move, yeah.”
And Lennon said no to Epstein?
“He just didn’t want to do it, I think.”
Did Lennon have sex with other men?
“I think he had a desire to, but I think he was too inhibited,” says Ono.
“No, not inhibited. He said, ‘I don’t mind if there’s an incredibly attractive guy.’ It’s very difficult: They would have to be not just physically attractive, but mentally very advanced too. And you can’t find people like that.”
So did Lennon ever have sex with men?
“No, I don’t think so,” says Ono. “The beginning of the year he was killed, he said to me, ‘I could have done it, but I can’t because I just never found somebody that was that attractive.’ Both John and I were into attractiveness—you know—beauty.”
I ask what she makes of the people outside the building, the crowds still at Strawberry Fields.
Ono misunderstands, or mishears (or is simply focused on the last strand of our conversation), and continues to talk about sex.
“I don’t make anything out of it. When you’re not really interested in that sort of sex, you don’t think about it. Both John and I surprisingly were very passive people. Unless somebody made a thing out of it, if they made a move, I wouldn’t even think about it.”

Now that the question of this thread has been answered after 21 pages, I feel like we should have a big, gay party or something. Or on second thought, maybe we should just “have the desire” for a big gay party and leave it at that…or not have one and say we did, or whatever.

Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<, LindeI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

And yet he married you.

Since John is all wrapped up, why don’t we see if Ringo Starr has gay leanings. Ringo Starr ‘s heterosexuality never comes into question so let’s question it!

No. I don’t think Ringo did.
Which one would you like to question next?
