Though it’s not stated if John ever knew about his “lost” half sister [https://www.beatlesbible.com/1945/06/19/john-lennons-half-sister-victoria-born/], the girl knew about him since the Beatles got famous. In Norway, Victoria became Ingrid Marie, but as stated, she never got to contact John, fearing her adopted mother might disapprove it. Well, after the death of John there wasn’t more to think about. But as Ingrids adopted parents had passed away, she let the facts go public. Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet had an article back in 1998 (in Norwegian) [https://www.dagbladet.no/kultur/john-lennons-halvnorske-halvsoster/65475877] telling her story.
As I got curious, I checked up a geneology site [https://www.geni.com/people/Ingrid-Marie-Pedersen/6000000010113180760]. This page mentioned another child of Alfred Lennon and Julia Dykins, with the name Arthur Burns. I have looked thru your site, and also thru an American Beatles biography (Bob Spitz – 1905) without finding any tracks. So I ask you – is the geneology site just bringing fake news, or is there/were there a brother Arthur? I haven’t found this Arthur mentioned anywhere else.
