It’s in the “All Together Now ” non-Beatles section.  I wanted to post a question there about Creedence, but was unable to and there was a symbol of a padlock.

In addition (if I may continue griping), I just spent like 15 minutes trying to find a suitable topic to post my question because for some mysterious reason, that entire section has no option for me to create a new topic (unlike here, obviously, since I am creating one now…) — only to find it apparently locked.  This reminds me why I don’t come here much…

Because @Joe decided, probably rightly, but with much disagreement, to lock many threads in “All Together Now ” and prevent the creation of new threads there in order to make the Fab Forum more Beatles-focused, @Doctor Doctor My Real Name Is Proctor, given that it is a Beatles forum.

I was one of those who loudly disagreed, but I completely understand his reasoning, and will grudgingly admit it was most likely the right call. At the time conversation on the forum could go on for days, sometimes weeks, with barely a mention of The Beatles. It could be discouraging for people wondering whether it was good Beatles forum to sign up to and talk about them on when the vast majority of posts were about anything but them.

We have the “Incredibly Impossible to Derail…” thread where anything can be posted, including questions on Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I’m a CCR fan, DocProc, one of many on the forum, and I’m in fact currently nearly done reading Fogerty’s autobio. I’d be happy to exchange a word or two or ten on the “Impossible to derail” thread…

I guess this would be the place to ask, why can’t I quote or post on the “BB’s official Super Bowl Sunday topic!” thread?  I wanted to ask Forum members if they had ever discussed Paul’s 2005 Superbowl show.

Now today I find, you have changed your mind

@Sea Belt, it is for the same reasoning as laid out by Ron Nasty in post 2 above.

You are very welcome to create a thread in the Paul McCartney section of the forum to discuss his super Super Bowl performance.
