I have been using desktop mode since Joe switched to the new version so I can have the new/unread messages drop down. I only switched to mobile to see if I could help out in this situation.

I use the mobile version as little as possible as its a right nuisance to use. The upgrade is slightly better but still not enough to make it worthwhile.

What makes the upgrade better? I feel like the upgrade makes the mobile version even more annoying to use.

Offline Seems faster and its easier to drop down the main menu for everything. Navigation is a pain however, i hate how to go to a different thread you have to scroll to find the bit which you click on which then takes you to another place where you see all the unread threads which you then have to click on.
Can’t remember how I did it but I was getting taken to the last thread in a post, i was annoyed as I wanted to go to the first unread post so had to figure out how to go back a page if required and that meant more scrolling and button pushing.
To be fair however I hate all forums on mobile devices, none i have been on are as well as on a computer.

Offline Honestly the mobile version is a ton more annoying than it was before. To be completely honest I really think that the upgrade sent the forum back functionally. There’s not as many little shortcuts that make life easier.
