So that’s why I was looking at the same thing in the “Derail” thread, @Starr Shine?!
I wonder if it’s to do with the huge letters @Beatlebug put in the spoiler? Did you make them big, and then enclose them in the spoiler, or did you write them normally, put them in the spoiler, and then make them big?
If you made them big first, that may affect the spoiler, and everything after.

It isn’t just changing the heading. It has to do with the picture. It was coded to be in the spoiler but it isn’t so I think that was what glitched it. Changing the size in a spoiler doesn’t cause the problem.

Offline Having major issues with ad attacks on Google analytics on this site. I have to block google or every link gets taken over and redirected to a spammy ad site. This is a known attack where the Bad Guys(tm) poison a DNS server with a fake google address and overwrite the code insert with code of its own. It’s annoying because I’d like to support @Joe and the site but have to just to use it 🙁 I’m wondering if @Joe needs to get another key because that one might be compromised, or is it just me?
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 
but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Could you give me some more info on what you’re seeing? Which links are being taken over, and where is it sending you? Please give as much info as you can. Are you sure it’s Google Analytics rather than Adsense?
I can’t see a problem here, which doesn’t necessarily mean all is OK, but it does make it harder to troubleshoot.

Offline It’s definitely analytics, @Joe. I have a little extension called Ghostery which allows me to switch off beacons and other ad connections and with adsense off and analytics on, whenever I mouseover a major link like Fab Forum, after reloading, that’s when I see an ad link. It’s not always the same thing. I should add that I’m on a Linux platform which means it’s not the kind of attack that attacks the OS like Windows. I’ll reenable it and see if i can capture some code for you for you to compare where your analytics code goes and where this is being overwritten by the spammer.
So, first it seems to get redirected to a random host with the domain dnsqa.me. This seems to be a common factor in the attacks so I’m guessing that’s somehow hooked onto your analytics code. Another common factor is the domain bestpriceninja.com. Now what this nasty thing does is inject its own stuff into your head, right after the canonical link:

Those links continue to the end of the body, it’s the best I can do because none of this is visible on a “view source”, it’s all in memory, injected. I’m unsure where the DNS spoof is, whether its google or a wordpress dns, but it’s one of those because when analytics is on, it appears and when its off, it’s gone.

Offline @Joe, to save you tearing your hair out about it, this is a variant of the DNSUnlocker attack, which seems to be attacking my Chrome installation, so I don’t think it’s your fault! I just set up a DNS blocker on my end and it seems to be working fine, so Google analytics are back yay!

Offline It gave me a good reason to get a list of nasties and redirect them to nothing anyway. Many of these things originate in bad browser extensions, but this one was based on one of my nameservers and I’m hoping that will dry the source up.

Up until now, my browser at work would not allow me to post in Rich Text format, only HTML. The company I work for finally upgraded to IE 11 and all is right with the world.
