The award for ‘new posts in a thread’ should be for the recreated Beatles Dreams thread. 42 pages of posts in less than 24 hours and not one was a move.
The idiot who deleted that thread should have been banished from Planet Earth.
If he were banned from planet Earth, we would have to get him a really strong device that is capable of picking up wi-fi from a long distance so that he can still perform his mod duties on the BB forum.
Besides, I wouldn’t be able to save up enough $ for a space shuttle ride to go visit that person, ever. Nope, that banishment can never, never happen (sorry to contradict your signature @Starr Shine?).
If anyone were wanting to get banished from planet Earth, Paul might try to contact him/her duing alien Woodstock.

Offline Excellent catch, @Starr Shine?! Now that you pointed it out, I realize that is the account where Joe saw the big heart the other day.
I looked at the coding on one of DigaPony’s posts from the page AD40 pointed out. I don’t see any coding within the post that would make the heart.
EDIT: I found the post that Joe saw. It was from TheTaxmansGirl.

Offline I figured it out when I looked at their posts on my phone!!! The heart is in their zignature!
When I am on my phone, I can go into edit mode on their posts, but I can’t go into edit mode on a computer. But, in either case, mods can’t edit zignatures.
I don’t have the permalink option for posts available on my phone, so I can’t do any comparisons of that feature with the computer. As I mentioned earlier, I can’t use the permalink feature on the computer for those posts.

Excellent sleuthing, @Ahhh Girl.
I can edit anyone’s signatures, so I’ve changed TheTaxmansGirl and DigAPony’s.
I assume it’s a bug which makes smileys appear at 400x300px. The original hearts are 35x35px. I’ll have a look in the forum settings to see if it’s forcing the larger size somehow, but it might be best to hold off using smileys in autosigs.

Offline @Joe I don’t know whether this is connected to the “big hearts” but this also involves images, which is what smileys are. I’ve noticed recently that often when you press on an image to get to see it full-size, it’s showing it at exactly the same size as in the post. While sometimes this could be because that is the size of the image, I know that isn’t true in all cases as I’ve used big images that when pressing them they have shown up small, and not the big image I’ve either copied or uploaded. I wonder if there is a bug in the image part at the moment, showing small images too big and big images too small?

Online @Ron Nasty I don’t know, sorry. I’ve not encountered that one. I suspect it’s a different issue – the 400×300 in the signatures is the maximum size allowed, and for some reason it was setting that as the value. I don’t think it’d affect the rest of the forum though.
Edit: I was just testing the image uploads on signatures, and I couldn’t get it to come out at the large size. I’ll put it down to a weird blip or a bug that (hopefully) has been fixed.

Offline Here’s something odd that’s been happening to me in the past week. I log in, and when it returns me to the Forums page I’m not logged in. It can happen several times in a row, enough to make me give up for the time being. I’ve tried refreshing, closing/re-opening tab, closing/re-opening browser, and rebooting – none seem to make a difference (although the sample set is small). If it’s not happening to anyone else, it probably is on my end though.
