I can’t reach Page 1 of the Yestereday and Today topics (where the news is pinned). I keep getting this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare spUnified_textdomain() (previously declared in /home/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/beatlesbible/templates/spFunctions.php:39) in/home/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/unified/templates/spFunctions.php on line 40

Try it again @parlance. It worked fine for me when I tried it.

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Nope, still happening. I’ll just access the news through an old link to the thread itself. @Joe
parlance
@parlance That’s very odd. It might be connected to the tinkering I was doing today (necessary, to fix the signatures thing).
Is it https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..and-today/ you’re having trouble accessing? It loads OK for me.

Yes, and it’s still only that first page. I can access other pages in that forum just fine.

@parlance Which browser/OS? I’ll try to replicate it if I can. Can you also try clearing your browser cache (delete offline content) and check again?

Just gave it a try without even clearing the cache, and it’s no longer a problem (I’m on Chrome, Windows 8.1). Thanks!

I’ve had similar problems with “fatal error” messages as parlance the past couple of days. First yesterday when trying to look at “Forum Changes”. Didn’t look to see what that message was. Then this morning, refreshing (not logged in) the forum page, this came up:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare my_stats_query() (previously declared in /home/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/beatlesbible/templates/spFunctions.php:4) in/home/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/beatles_bible_2014/functions.php on line 103
Tried a few times, reopened in a new tab, same thing every time. Left it for about 20 minutes, half-an-hour, tried again, and it loaded fine.
(Windows 7/Opera)
EDIT: Now happening trying to get into “All Together Now “. Same message.

That stats query error was to do with trying to fix that damned Top Posters list. It’s still not right but I think I’ll give up trying to get it working. I changed something, noticed it had broken the forum, then my boss came over to talk to me about something. I had to finish the conversation as quickly as I could knowing things weren’t working here (and I wasn’t really working either).

Yesterday I posted on the thread PAUL McCARTNEY: RECORDING SESSIONS (1969-2013) under the books sections. I cannot find the thread in the list…What’s happening?
Can you see my last message (about the book’s availability in the US)?

Your post from yesterday is there @backseat. I have no idea why you couldn’t find it earlier.
Good to see your book is now available for those in the US, only right.

Since I’m right behind MeanMrsMustard I was aware of the fact that she had 2800 (maybe one or two more) posts. I just looked down at the Top Posters list and she has 2776 now. Where’d those 24 posts go?

It might be from the Beatles dream thread

About that Beatles Dream thread…are we supposed to be going through that Google cache (that you so helpfully linked to) and re-posting them ourselves?

That seems like alot of work. Maybe someone could download the page and upload it on a site and link it on the Beatles Dream thread
Edit: Page 18 on the google cache doesn’t work so people have to use way back machine for that one

Would that make sense? If we are all doing it together some of us would end up posting the same one twice, it could get messy. Otherwise I’d be in favor of it.

Yeah, it took me a few minutes to realize what was going on.

@vonbontee.
No. We’ll see who wants to help out, split the work as evenly as possibly between, probably by complete pages as its mostly 20 posts per page and easy to keep tabs on, and folk can work thru them a their own pace (within reason). The mods can then reorder them into the correct order. We (Parlance and Ahh Girl are already down to help out) have to work out the how’s and such still and it’s going to take time and patience (sadly no spending money is involved) but hopefully we can get thru it quickly and easily enough.
