@JoeLinks are not displaying differently to other text so its difficult to know which text acts as a link and which text does not. Is there anything that can be done to distinguish between the two?
That was going to be my only suggestion – if an underline could be added to the link style?

It’s a bit of a bodged fix, which might be replaced if there’s an update. For my reference: wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/unified/styles
unified.php, add these lines to end:

Offline @Joe, it looks like the new layout has shortened the signature area, so a lot of sigs are getting cut off. Can that be adjusted or should we adjust our signatures to fit the new length?

Oh, the song autolinks work wrong if you’re using a song that has another song’s title within it, such as With A Little Help From My Friends or Wild Honey Pie . It just links to the inner song (Help , Honey Pie )

@Joe I wish I could say it resolved all of IE’s issues. I am on an IE browser right now.
The positive: the editing tools do appear while using IE in the rich text option. Also, the @ function seems to be working now while in HTML.
The negative: I cannot use the quote function in rich text. If I click on Quote, a posting box appears but does not show the post I am quoting. Also, I need to link to a different page or use the back button to Cancel it. The Quote option still works in HTML, though.
Regardless, I do love the new look of the Forum. It’s very…”clean”.

Offline I’ve taken three screenshots of how the forum displays on my iPhone 4S; as you can see, threads degrade as they get longer.
Can someone tell me what’s causing this and what I should do to stop it?

Offline Okay, I’m not sure why, but the forum isn’t letting me embed Youtube vids now. I’m not doing anything different from what I’ve always done. I just pasted the URL onto the post. It showed up as a link instead of as an embedded video.

I suspect it works alphabetically, so if it encounters a word it parses that first, then can’t parse the fuller title as it’s already got some code in it. Interesting.

This isn’t, AFAIK, a problem with the forum, it’s an issue with comments on pages elsewhere on the site. I’ll see what I can do about it.
Edit: should be OK now, @stuartgardner. If it still looks wonky it’s probably just cached on your browser.

I’m aware of this, but it’s not something I can fix right now. The Simple Press devs hard-coded a fixed height into the signature box, which I can’t override until early June when they roll out the next release (which will allow easier customisation).

Do you get some type of extra notification when posts are put into moderation, outside of the link to it showing up in red? Should folks alert the mods another way if a post of theirs hasn’t been approved within a specified time frame?
