@LongHairedLady first you will see a box that has what looks like one of those boxes you put a comment in like in a comic book. It is in the same place at the end of the posts on a page like “add reply” is.
After writing out your post, look for the icon that looks like an old 3.5 floppy disk. It is where the “submit reply” button usually is.

Offline A PM from a member never showed up in my inbox, but on other hand, I couldn’t get a PM thread that did show up to stop coming up as unread, even thought I kept clicking “mark all read.” Only deleting the thread solved the issue.

Oh, that’s always been a problem. I just ignore the PM number because it’s permanently stuck on 4. I wait for the email notification.

That’s what i do now. The PM number is continually making it up.

Offline I’ve scrolled thru the last couple of pages on this thread but don’t see what I’m looking for – just gonna ask.
Am I the only one who no longer has the editing buttons for new topics? I used to have all sorts of options – bolding/italicizing/underlining text, adding/removing hyperlinks, quote/unquote, etc…
No biggie if that editing suite has gone away – just curious.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Offline The issue is happening when I post anything – and upon further review, it appears to be a browser issue.
Directly above this box in which I am typing, there are buttons to click that will bold, italicize or underline text – then there are buttons for bullet points, quotes, indents, etc…
I can see them now at home because I use GC. At work they use IE and I cannot see those editing buttons at all.
Good to know it is not the Forum, but rather a case of IE browserrhea.

Its widely known that IE is a piece of s**t. The only ones who continue to use it are those who are forced to thru their work, have no idea better is out there, are far too stubborn and stuck in their loyalty to IE that they stay despite knowing that it is a piece of s**t.
