I think the “Welcome back” thing is OK now – I’ve asked the server not to cache the forum at all. Fortunately the loading speeds are still OK. Long may it continue.
I haven’t been able to fix the small text box thing, attachments or the faulty mentions autocomplete yet, but I will do on Monday. Sorry, I got sidetracked with another issue this morning.

Everything’s loading expediently and the post and attachment boxes are back to normal for me.
…Well, the attachment box looked okay a minute ago, anyway 
but the post box is normal. I don’t use Rich Text (
) so I don’t know about the @tt mentions.
Edit: Oh, now that’s weird. The attachment box seems to be normal when editing, but not when posting initially.

Offline I haven’t been able to logon since Wednesday morning. Every time I tried my PC would freeze and required a hard restart 
. Seems ok now except for some odd formatting as already mentioned.

Offline I have been completely messed up for the last two days, but I find that it may be related to how the site interacts with Safari. I usually use Safari for the Forum because it works better with images, but I had to change to Chrome to be able to maintain a login. In Safari, every time I would click on the “Fab Forum” button at the top of the page (which I do all the time to clear unread posts and start over with browsing), I would lose my login identity and be accused of being Ron Nasty or Shamrock Wolmbs. I couldn’t log in as anybody, however, because the Forum was all frozen up for me. This all happened right after @Joe was making cache changes early one morning.

I am on Chrome using both my Android phone and tablet. “Refresh” does not work. I have to go into Chrome and clear my cache/history each time if I want the privilege of seeing any new posts posted since the previous time I logged in. Of course, this action logs me out of this site and every other site as well, so it is a major chore to have to both clear my cache and log in every single time.

I had a similar problem to Special Cup,but my tablet gives me a tick box to choose if i want to log out of a site or not. Thank God for that! My refresh is working better now too
