Like take a smile and post it on a black background.

Offline I think we should get rid of the mobile version of this site so people can use the normal version on their mobile phones or at the very least give people an option of what version they’d like to use when they’re using a mobile phone. The mobile version is so annoying, it doesn’t let you see the most recent posts all at once, it only shows you the most recent post for a certain section and when you try to go back at any point, it sends you to your browser’s homepage.
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

You can fix that on your phone, phone browsers offer a way to do that yourself.
Plus the white extra fluff on smiley’s shows up whenever a message is quoted.

To see recent post easiest in mobile, it’s way simpler to use the handy-dandy-drop-down menu at the top of the page, than to scroll through each individual forum and see recent posts.

The mobile version will remain. If anyone prefers the full site, choose that option on your device. Joe worked/works hard to set up and maintain the mobile version for those who like it and use it a lot.

If you click on the ‘Action’ buttons (on the right hand side immediately above your avatar) you will find the option to list all unread threads. Click on any of them to go there.

Offline I don’t know if it’s already been suggested, but my only problem with the site is the search feature, as it rather annoyingly goes for individual words. I think there should be separate search modes for searching for threads, as it’s annoying to have to trawl through all the pages to make sure you’re not creating a thread that already exists.

mmm’s post explains how to search for threads through google. It’s way easier than searching in the forum itself and much faster.
If that is still too inconvenient, I’m sure @Ahhh Girl or the other mods can help you find something if you ask in the Thread Search Thread.

Just found it! Either it wasn’t showing up or I was just being stupid (probably the latter

Offline I have a suggestion for a new sub-forum.
I was wondering if there could be something similar to a ‘Beatle Travel’ subforum. A lot of the forum members go to Liverpool, London, Hamburg, New York, expecting to go see some Beatley sights.
People who have already visited those sites/locals could recommend which areas to visit, which not to, where to eat, where to stay. It could be very helpful even if it won’t be the most-active subforum.
There could be one thread for Liverpool, one for London etc.
I thought of it because I’m thinking of my trip to Liverpool in September, and I kind of want to go to all the ‘off the track’ routes, like I don’t particularly want to go to Strawberry Fields or Penny Lane because nothing at them is original anymore. Having an idea of where everything is in relation to one another would save Forumpudlians a lot of time, and effort.
