Offline Actually, the Pepper ones look normal sized to me, did you press on the picture. If anything, I think the walrus ones are a little too big, but no problem, Joe can go into Photoshop or whatever he likes to use and brighten and shrink the walrus pictures if he’d like to, it’s a very simple procedure.

I might not need that function at this very minute, but if in a year’s time I need to scroll through ~1000 pages of the derail thread to find what I want, it would be incredibly useful!

Example: to find a specific phrase or anything else, type in *phrase*site:beatlesbible.com/forum/.
Google will bring up all relevant results.
But if you want to pool searches to the ATN forum, use *What you’re looking for*site:beatlesbible.com/forum/all-together-now-song/ (You can do this with threads too.)
That search thing also works for many other websites as well.
(The words in the asterisks are only examples.)

Offline I used this technique to locate the page in Name the Beatles song that goes with this picture thread when I first started posting on the forum. I remember it quite well because of this crazy coincidence. Sigh Butterfly eventually guessed correctly, and the next picture he posted I guessed on with one of my first posts. I ended up guessing correctly and winning. Kudos to the forum for doing such a great job welcoming me, even if it was on accident.

The book review thread was for a specific purpose to assist Joe.
Any general threads on the forum that exclude others from posting I will be firmly opposed to as the over-riding aim of the forum is to be all-inclusive. If you wish to talk to someone privately there are PM’s, want to take it further you can move to emails, external chat-rooms, outside forums, letter writing, phone calls, smoke signalling or any of the other forms of communication that exist. You can even go and meet up with them anywhere in the world if you wish – and they wish too of course.

Though this would be for someones as in multiple people which is harder to courdnate them all going somewhere. Hmmm . . There are examples of doing this, I kinda run a new test to see how many users I can get to join somwehre else to see if a multiple person private converstion off forum could be viable.
Should I test this out using the scintific method (link below)?

Offline Remove the little bits around smilies.
I have night mode on and when I activate it, a cloud of white flecks surrounds most of the smiles.
Like take a smile and post it on a black background.
