Oh dear! I appear to have sent an email and tweeted him with a link to my post!!!
I just find something like that so annoying though.
I did like how his choice of It’s All Too Much was being discussed while all I can see is the mistake!!!

It seems a paragraph has been added to the article:
The following year, John picked up the song, remixed it, and again planned to release it as a single (this time, with his Plastic Ono band). Though he got closer, his bandmates and other forces at Apple Corp. again shut down John’s hopes.
But it still claims @Joe’s article says John suggested releasing it on a single with Why Don’t We Do It in the Road. Here’s Joe’s article; am I missing something? Is there some reference that I just can’t see?

Yeah I saw that in my recommendations a few days ago and thought ‘must have been inspired by that hell hole of a thread’.
Like, we all know it’s John, so why bother?

Ken McNab’s And in the End: The Last Days of The Beatles, published in March this year, in the “Sources and Acknowledgements”, says:
There is, of course, a massive online resource of information about The Beatles but the sterling work done by Steve Marinucci and The Beatles Bible, in my opinion, raise them above all others.
It’s good that it’s becoming de rigueur for new Beatles books to tip the hat to Joe’s effort in creating the best Beatles website on the interweb.

I was reading the Wikipedia article on Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five, and noticed that the personnel section cites Joe’s article on the song.
Though, nowhere in Joe’s article does it mention anything about Tony Visconti.

Aww, you are. Funny this forum was founded right around when I was first getting into the Beatles – but as I was 8 I was not on the internet, of course.

Until the human race gets to the point of mass infertility/applied methods of population control, this is a trend that will continue for years to come
