Does anyone notice them, or am I alone?  I don’t see certain replies to topics unless I am signed in.  Then when I sign in, after some minuets pass it says I am signed out…until I refresh the page, and then it thinks I’m logged in again.

..and once when I tried to reply to a topic, the screen moved up and down by itself repeatedly until it finally stopped.

I think it’s just regular internet forum glitches.  Every 20 visits or so, I find I have to sign in again, and every Now And Then my “unread posts” doesn’t notify me of any updates even if there have been multiple new posts.

That’s the internet for you.

Yeah, I’ve had that problem with it not telling you if there are any new unread posts. Recently I’ve noticed that the spellchecker no longer works as well. Wasn’t sure if that was a problem with the internet in general or if it had something specifically to do with this site.

Sorry all. I’ve not seen this happen, so I don’t really know what to suggest. It sounds like a cookie issue but I don’t really know how to troubleshoot it.

The spellchecker thing is probably to do with your browser rather than this site, though.

Not seeing replies is probably because all pages were being cached for people not signed in. I’ve disabled the cache for the forum now, so hopefully it’ll be a bit more consistent.

The other day while I was in the forum, my caps lock on my keyboard reversed itself — so that caps lock was NOT caps, and no caps lock became caps…

This has never happened to me before.

I left the forum and the problem continued for a few minutes, then went away.

That definitely was not caused by this forum. It’s an unrelated issue.

Okay, this one can’t just be my computer’s fault:  When I click on YouTubes on the YouTube site, no problem, the video plays.  When I click on a video from YouTube that is posted on this forum, more often than not, my “Adobe Flash” crashes and I can’t see the video.

I don’t know why that might be. It’s never happened to me. Sorry.

Joe, are you having any problems opening this thread? It keeps hanging/not loading/crashing for me. Maybe there’s something in one of the posts that’s causing a problem?

Getting the same thing parlance.

Which thread is it as, for me, it’s neither loading nor saying what it is?

It was the creepy/scary Beatle songs one. I was looking for an old comment. Luckily pages 2-4 were in my history so I was able to go right to those. Page 1 must have a comment with some funky coding, I think.

Yes, thanks for pointing it out. It was hanging for me too. I’m not sure what the problem was, and there was no way to fix it without being able to view the posts, so I deleted the thread.

Not a getting worse more strange.

At times when im replying to a post and quoting the original whatever I type isn’t displayed, its either an empty box or the original post repeated. Very strange.

It’s a bug that appears if you delete too much space close to the quote. It’s very weird.

Something I’ve noticed happening is that when I click on the button that appears next to the topics that have unread posts – the one that’s supposed to take you to the oldest un-read – it takes me back several days, so I have to go forward to find where there’s a post that I haven’t seen yet.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I get taken to the last post in the thread and have to go back and find where the new posts start.

The opposite to me, then. Has it been happening for a while?
