@Starr Shine? You mentioned (in the other place) that @mentions don’t work for you and a few other issues. Are they OK now?
Actually, slight change of plan. Please report any forum problems in this thread.

It’s that time again: I need to move the site to a new web host.
For posterity’s sake, I thought I would put in a picture of the page that scared hard core BBers to the brink of a heart attack and/or stroke and prompted the move to the new server.
When I first saw that page of utter desolation, I thought, “OMG what did I write in the Fifty Shades thread that got Joe to kick me out?” Then, when I got over the fact that not everything is about **me** and that this was a BB-wide account issue, I started thinking, “I hope the fourmpudlians that see this message don’t think the mods have gotten into a spree of suspending accounts.”
Thank you, @Starr Shine? for having that back-up site so we could send out messages.

My reaction (almost) exactly!
“I couldn’t have posted anything that bad!”

Ya I had that reaction too. I was like “What did I do to get banned?” Cause I am worried about getting banned. I thought it was about me since I have been banned from sites before but I looked up the situation and then went to the Back up forum and saw people their and I am like “Oh I wasn’t banned, Please let the site come back soon”

I’ve been thinking about having a Twitter account or a separate domain which acts as a status check for website uptime. It’s on my to-do list (ie I have to work out how to do it!).
Somebody did actually email me to ask why her account was suspended. I had to explain that it was my account, not hers.
Which reminds me, must cancel my account with Future Hosting.

I just got an email from Google Adsense (the part of the company that allows publishers to put ads on their sites):
from: adsense-noreply@google.com
Hello,
This is a warning message to alert you that there is action required to bring your AdSense account into compliance with our AdSense program policies. We’ve provided additional details below, along with the actions to be taken on your part.Affected website: beatlesbible.com
Example page where violation occurred: https://www.beatlesbible.com/1…..nnon-dies/
Action required: Please make changes immediately to your site to follow AdSense program policies.
Violation explanation
Google ads may not be placed on pages with adult or mature content. This includes, but is not limited to, pages with images or videos containing:
Strategically covered nudity
Sheer or see-through clothing
Lewd or provocative poses
Close-ups of breasts, buttocks, or crotches
I clicked on the link, and it was the famous pic of John and Yoko by Annie Liebovitz. You know the one: she’s clothed and impassive, he’s naked and clinging to her. It even made the cover of Rolling Stone, that’s how lewd and provocative it is.
I removed the pic from the article. I’m not going to query it – it sucks, but Google’s too big to grant my little old site an exception, and I don’t want to lose my ad revenue. Just a heads-up in case anyone was thinking of posting this pic on the forum (please don’t).

Is it not adsense and google that give you ads for Asian dating sites and half clothed women for whatever? Seems hypocritical. But we do still have ->
You mean there are no sexy, single women in my area looking for friendship and maybe even more?

I dont know. Hang around some street corners late at night and see what happens.
Obviously you do that at your own stupidity.

Oops. I posted a promotional still from the movie Gone Girl which was an obvious parody of the Liebovitz photo. Ben Affleck was nude (from the side) and curled around a recumbent Rosamund Pike. Sorry, Joe. I didn’t really think of that as being provocative; it was just a Beatley moment.
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.
