I’ve always fancied the orange Dark Horse Records t-shirt George wears in the video for “This Song”, myself.
here’s a cool-looking outtake from my commemorative birthday art photography expedition

Just found this – Dhani performing “Run Of The Mill ” It sounds so beautiful being sung by him – his voice is lighter than George’s and he really brings out the tender side of the song. @sigh butterfly

Beautiful bb and a nice feeling to have during the waning minutes of Georgemas. What we perhaps lost a little in participation this year, we made up for in dedication. I have visited many George Harrison sites and one thing is clear, he is loved both there and here . My adieus until next Febrooary comes around.

No worries @AppleScruffJunior, you did fine, and I’m in a similar situation so I totally understand.
Now the yearly battle with post-Georgemas blues begins… ugh! what do I listen to now? I’m easing myself off of two days of mainlining Harrisongs by getting some Travelling Wilburys in, and then using that to transition to Tom Petty
…let’s see who’s next, David Gilmour I think?

Ray Shasho: What was George Harrison like?
Dave Edmunds: He was one of the most interesting people that I’ve ever met, and one of the nicest. Whenever the subject of The Beatles would come up…he always called them the fabs, like the fab four. He’d say…when I was in the fabs… and always looked at it with amusement, not with any ego at all. He looked at it like…what a weird thing that was, how the hell did that happen? The other three may have been egotistical about it and proud of being Beatles, but with George he saw it as some cosmic joke. He was just amused by the whole thing, he loved it but he kept it to himself, and you could tell when you were talking to him that there was no ego at all. Maybe acid burned it off. (All laughing)…I do miss him.
A cosmic joke! Love the way he was perceiving the whole thing.Unique George!

One of the best summaries of George’s personality I’ve read in a while.
I’ve moved your post to this thread atmp – your post somehow managed to start a duplicate thread.

One of the editors from the R&R Hall of Fame 2004 did a re-edit of While My Guitar… featuring Prince. For any and all Prince fans, this cut features more of Prince doing his solo.
It’s very cool to look at.

Love this from George; Paul, Ringo then George talking about the reunion tracks (source: The Daily Beatle)
Paul: It was good fun doing it. Unlike “Free As A Bird ”, it had all the words and music and we were more like ‘sidemen’ to John, which was joyful, and I think we did a good job. I think George actually liked “Real Love ” a little better. It’s just a matter of opinion, they are both good songs. I think it is slightly deceptive, “Real Love ”, because it’s one of those the more you hear it, the more you go, ‘Ohh, ohh!’
Ringo: I think John will love it when he hears it.
George: I hope somebody does this to all my crap demos when I’m dead, make them into hit songs.
