Sorry to hear that @Beatlebug. Maybe this will cheer you up a little
Aries and Pisces have a lot in common. Both signs are creative, pleasure seeking, and generous. This means that an Aries and Pisces pairing can be a lot of fun. Aries are born leaders while Pisces are focused on making others happy (sounds like the foundation of a perfect friendship).

This is a well researched article about life in Liverpool during WW2 (his parents were lucky to be alive, having survived the Blitz) and the home where George was born and grew up. The story concludes with what life is like at 12 Arnold Grove now.

I’ve been listening to George all day and, as always, I just love the effect that mainlining his albums has on me. Perhaps it’s also the effect of the early spring weather we’re having today, or the combination, but even despite the little annoyances of everyday life (and some of the things I’ve had to deal with today were very annoying), overall, I’m in a rare uplifted mood. I have been saving his albums all this month for this day, and thinking back I really could have used his spirit through what was a rather dark (literally – it wouldn’t stop raining) February for me, but it is perhaps all the more refreshing now. Anyway, I just wanted to express my appreciation for his beautiful soul, as usual, blah blah blah I love this yearly ritual so much, his music is just so sweet and pure and and comforting, it’s not always happy, it’s uplifting through the good and bad.
that was very disorganized lol

Treasured albums like that are great. For so long you listen over and over, then you take breaks, explore other artists, and return to those albums with such comfort

I’m not gonna lie, a few of George’s albums I really only listen to on Georgemas (like Extra Texture and Somewhere In England ). Being part of the ritual run-through helps make them special and more enjoyable than they’d be on any normal day.

Only 18 minutes to go…
I am definitely a kindred spirit when it come to George’s music. I agree Walt, it is like having a trove of everlasting treasure. Some of my favorite albums I only listen to rarely now, so that I can have the full sensory experience I had in the beginning of the relationship. Soon I will be immersed once again in Blue.
This looks like a fun party. I read on another site that George recites Paul’s phone number at the end of this version.
