I’ve posted this before but for some of you young’uns who haven’t seen it. The glorious Weird Al “interview” with Georgie-boy.Al is a big George fan, and Dhani’s friend- he played at George Fest in 2016. He also “did” an interview with Paul which is nowhere near as good as George’s.
And my favourite George video is Got My Mind… (Version 2, I don’t particularly care for Version 1), that pure pisstake scene with the body double doing the dance breakdown and back-flip is absolute perfection.

I didn’t process that it was a fake interview for the first minute or so until he said the line about sharing the same wife with Eric and I remembered watching the actual interview… so that was a bit confusing but wow.
Also, good choice for the music video. I like that one as well.

Putting this here to say once again how much I enjoy George’s playing. So many players have superior tecnique and speed, but few could ever hold a candle to his pure feel. His perfect blend in the 3 part harmony and his guitar fills and solos that perfectly accentuate anything he plays on. There is no simple explanation to the way he plays. Like Ringo, he had the magic touch and feel that sends chills up your spine on any note he plays. I belive Jeff Lynne has a similar quote praising the organic beauty of the Harrisonics.

Yes indeed, I believe I posted about it before in this thread but here it is again.
Everything George ever did was just so George, including his guitar, and that’s why I love the man.

It is pretty! Honestly though any cat could walk all over me if it wanted to, just because it’s a cat and it’s not possible for me to not love a cat. My cat is an actual demon but I still love him unconditionally. I just can’t let him in my room at night, or he will bite my head off. He does that: he sneaks in while you’re sleeping, jumps up on the bed out of nowhere and scares you half to death, and then he bites your head. Hard.
