I noticed a bunch of George interviews are gone from youtube. It seems a bunch of Beatles videos have been taken down. I always feel annoyed that I didn’t think to save them while they were there.
I don’t think this has been posted before. George giving commentary on Ravi Shankar’s Indian Festival. It’s an interesting watch even if you aren’t so into Indian classical music. Also, make sure you watch the last bit after the credits.

Thanks for that, @bewareofchairs. Not only was that a nice George interview, but I also gained a new respect for Ravi’s music. Plus that promo at the end was brilliant!

I meant to watch it, but only just got round to it now. I think I am far gone enough that I’d be pleased to watch George sell soap (or toothpaste *cough* Cloud Nine album cover *cough*) so watching him chat with an intelligent interviewer about the music he’s passionate about is, of course, highly enjoyable! The music was good, too.
His hair looked like chocolate caramel taffy and when he brushed it back, oh dear
Haha, the ending was the best part! His on-camera deadpan is perfection. ‘Hullo, I’m George Harrison . This is a very nice station… etc… Please send your donations so we can buy a new camera.’ [off-screen chuckling from the interviewer] ‘Oh, fine, I suppose I can go ahead and laugh at myself now’
I love his laugh

Thanks for sharing the video @SgtPeppersBulldog it was really good. But does anyone know why there are fractals at about 3:15 when Within You Without You is presented. Maybe there is a connection between spirituality and fractals, something like ‘the closer you look the more you see’? Or is there a link between fractlas and the song in particular?

Now, I cannot swear to this, @SgtPeppersBulldog, but I believe it’s taken from a 1989 documentary that was part of Melvyn Bragg’s “South Bank Show” arts strand on the UK’s ITV channel. The documentary, if I have the right one in mind, was about the history of Strats, and called “Contours and Body Horns”.
Don’t quote me though, just dragged that from somewhere in the very back of a crowded memory.

Today I found a site with 455 photos of George in one place and they are all really amazing!
Probably, you’ve already known the site but I thought I’d post a link anyway so everyone who didn’t know it has the chance to spend some hours of their life admiring a great person!

Here’s one of the photos; look at the mystical expression on George’s face!

Cool site, thanks @Martha! They even had a few pics I hadn’t seen! By the way, I love that pic, one of my favourites from the ATMP era — I actually don’t mind the beard.
I also don’t mind confessing that
I find him very sexy, even though I’m asexual.

Great site Martha, although it seems to be lacking quite a lot of pictures, like that one where he’s recording Martha My Dear using Lucy and also, why is there a picture of Adolf Hitler on the last page.
As for that video Ron Nasty, it’s nice to watch although I’ve already seen it. By the way, the part of the video where George claims he and John didn’t get their Strats until the Rubber Soul sessions is inaccurate, they got them during the Help ! sessions, there are pictures of John playing his Strat on Ticket To Ride and George Martin’s handwritten notes during the Help ! sessions confirm that George played his Strat on The Night Before solo, Ticket To Ride , and If You’ve Got Trouble and John played his Strat on Another Girl , Ticket To Ride , and Tell Me What You See , here’s the notes for Ticket To Ride :
I sure wish George Martin wrote more of these. Anyways, he is definitely right about using his Strat on Nowhere Man , you can definitely hear it there. Here’s a picture of him recording Taxman .
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

The good thing is that everyone can add pictures that are still missing. So why don’t you just add the ones you have mentioned?
And regarding the Hitler photo, I have no idea really. It’s really disturbing but probably it has no deeper meaning. Some idiot just uploaded it which is, of course, the disadvantage of the free adding policy.

I love this quote
“It just annoyed me that people got so into the Beatles. “Beatles, Beatles, Beatles.” It’s not that I don’t like talking about them. I’ve never stopped talking about them. It’s “Beatles this, Beatles that, Beatles, Beatles, Beatles, Beatles.” Then in the end, it’s like “Oh, sod off with the Beatles,” you know?”.”
