I just found the best blog ever and I had to share it.
The poster hasn’t been active for a while, unfortunately, but there’s some great stuff there.

This particularly got me.

I think I’ve heard that story somewhere before. Silly George. He could be mean, couldn’t he? But all in good fun.
I seem to be having one of my going-potty-on-George-Harrison days today.

Sounds like a good day! I’m listening to a playlist of the Beatles canon songs. I’m on song 165 of 217 (While My Guitar Gently Weeps ).

For anyone interested; over the last few days there have been reports that George plays and sings on a track from Eric Clapton’s new album however Examiner reports that Eric Clapton has posted on Facebook that George does not:
There is no truth to the rumor that George Harrison plays or sings on the forthcoming album ‘I Still Do”…..

Don’t you just melt when he sings “she’s an angel sent to me” towards the end of Devil In Her Heart ? *sigh*

No. That could be a good horror story where George is cursed and when people here him sing, they all melt wicked witch of the West style.

Right. If I had said, “Doesn’t your heart flutter…” I might have gotten away with it, but I said “melt” and now there’s all this!

Welcome to life in Annadog40land.
It just so happens I’m having yet another going-potty-on-George-day. I’ve been listening to naught but George all day.

Is it just me or is this the most openly sexy photo of George ever?
That stare… he looks in that photo like he sounds in the demo version of Let It Down.
See your eyes are busy kissing mine…
Okay, that’s enough for one day

Greetings, fellow Harrifans!
So I recently heard the Brainwashed album for the first time yesterday, and it just about blew my mind. I have to say I like it a little better than Cloud 9, but not as much as All Things Must Pass or Living in the Material World. And speaking of the latter album, I see Brainwashed (the song) as kind of a sequel to Living in The Material World. Both songs have the same general theme, and have sections of Indian music. Anyone else feel this way?
Also, since I’ve posted on this thread last, I’ve heard obtained copies of Extra Texture and Somewhere in England on vinyl (they’re okay- nothing to write home about), and a CD of The Concert For Bangladesh (really, really good live album). So I’ve had plenty of George in my life recently.

I’m glad you’ve been having so much fun with George lately. I also have just received Extra Texture finally and can agree that it’s nothing to write home about, though I do really enjoy This Guitar (Cant’s Keep From Crying). I think that’s my new fave song of his.
And I could see where you’re coming from saying that Brainwashed is like the sequel to Living In The Material World . I never looked at it that way. Interesting.

I feel that way with most of George’s albums. There’s a couple banging songs and then the rest are just okay. The only exceptions for me are ATMP , LITMW, Cloud 9 and Brainwashed.
