She do be lookin’ smoky there tho, ngl can we bring the Sixties back but with less social upheaval? I want the tousled-haired flower children with copious eyeliner to make a revival

I hate the smell of pot smoke, it smells… dank. Unironically. Better than cigarette smoke, but still.

Me three! It would be lovely to come out of all this to that kind of thing. A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late…

But sometimes there’s that good stuff that just tastes kind of herbal and fresh and earthy and it really hits the spot

I don’t know about y’all, but for whatever reason, I’ve always had a hard time getting a finger on what Pattie’s like as a person (maybe it’s a Pisces thing… I often have a hard time understanding those enigmatic fish ) and so therefore I’ve never liked her as much as some of the other Beatles lasses, because I simply didn’t know what there is about her to like, or dislike for that matter — I never disliked her either, I just didn’t know.
So I must thank you, ASJ, for sharing about her alpacas. It’s a small thing, but I feel like now I can appreciate better what kind of person she is and what she does (in some minor way), which, apparently, is keep alpacas. Very cute.

In January 2018, talking to Nina Myskow for The Times, discussing her life with George and Eric to coincide with the film Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars, the interview ended with her saying she was happy with where she was in her life, commenting, “I’ve survived George, and I’ve survived Eric. So I’m very lucky.”
She’s then asked which of the two was the love of her life…
“I think it was George. George was always very loving. Even after we split he was always my friend, we’d still speak on the phone. And he came to see me before he died. If you love somebody, you do that.
“And I think he always did love me.” And Eric not? “Eric loves himself. I don’t think there’s much room for me.”
The interview can be found here, don’t know if it’s still behind a paywall but if you register you can get access to a couple of free articles a week.
