If the kids wanted to then fine but why bother when the scrutiny and coverage from the press and general humanity will be shrouded by everything their fathers did. Every note they play will be over analysed and destroyed by some form of criticism.

I can imagine, maybe the 75th Anniversary Celebrations of Ed Sullivan, a star-studded performance ending with a few of the Beatles boys ending the night by performing a couple of Beatles tracks together and telling the world how great their dads were.
The idea of them forming a full-time band together just because of who their fathers were… no thanks. Like mmm said, they could never live up to the expectation and scrunity.

If they really wanted to escape that, I highly doubt they’d name themselves Seltaeb or Offspring Beatles.
Maybe they’d name themselves The Offspring. Oh, wait…

In terms of Dhani do we know anything about the relationship with the former Beatles? I mean I know The Beatle kids have hang out so there I hope is a true friendship.
Oooh I missed out on this.
Dhani was really good friends with Paul’s children growing up (and he still is, always goes to any events they’re holding if they’re in LA), which I imagine comes from the fact that Paul, Linda and the kids had a place about 2 hours away so easy enough to meet up if one of their fathers was working or in London or whatever.
I’d say it’s more of a you know ‘an uncle who you meet every now and again relationship’, I can’t imagine Dhani being “hey I’m bored, it’s 2am, I want to go out, might call Paul”, it would be more of you see him at someplace you go up say hi and chat about what you’re doing. I can’t imagine they’re on casual texting level with each other more that’s it a friendly yet respectful relationship with each other.
He also invited both Ringo and Paul to his wedding so there’s obvious friendliness between them both.
Funny, it’s difficult to find a ‘recent-enough’ photo of Dhani with Ringo, they all have him with his late-teens-mid 20’s hair.

Here’s one no one’s even tried to answer:
Why has George never used his Strat live with The Beatles and why are there almost no pictures of him with it pre-paint job although multiple sources, such as beatlesebooks.com, The Beatles Gear, and The Beatles As Musicians, claim that he used it on most of Help !, Rubber Soul , Revolver , Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Magical Mystery Tour .

The only answer I can think of is that George liked it so much that he didn’t want to damage it during live performances. As for studio photos, you’re guess is as good as mine.
Maybe you should try posting more.

I know one of his guitars fell out of the back of a car and was destroyed, but I’ve never heard about a stolen guitar. That said, I’m not super knowledgable about all the instruments that The Beatles used, so I could have no idea what I’m talking about.
Grooving some cookie spaghetti since 1968.

You may be thinking of John’s stolen 1962 Gibson J-160E, @Starr Shine?. He and George both got one on the same day in 1962, and they were used a lot during 1963. However, John’s went missing during the 1963 Xmas Show. It was discovered when John’s stolen guitar turned up recently that while it was definitely the guitar he’d been playing in 1963 (matched by wood grain and scratches), its serial number revealed it as the J-160E that was registered to George. It seems as if, for some reason, John and George swapped their guitars.
There is another George guitar theft story from the ’70s as well. In 1968 Eric Clapton gave George a 1957 “red” Gibson Les Paul, which quickly became one of his favourites (it can be seen in the Revolution video and the Let It Be film. George named the guitar “Lucy” after Lucille Ball. Among other items, “Lucy” was stolen from George’s Beverley Hills home during a burglary in 1973. George managed to negotiate its return, in exchange for a Les Paul sunburst and a Fender Precision Bass. In later years he would describe the incident as a “kidnapping”.
“Lucy” remained one of George’s most favoured guitars until his death.

Does anyone know what George is trying to tell through Within You Without You ?
@ScrambledEggs
To be quite honest –and many BeatleBiblers will want to shoot me for this– I’ve never really understood George’s mysticism. But then again I’ve read extensively about Asian mysticism and have even lived in Asia, and still don’t get the whole Indian mystic thing –I prefer the more disciplined Japanese Zen Buddhism.
“Forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit” (“Perhaps one day it will be a pleasure to look back on even this”; Virgil, The Aeneid, Book 1, line 203, where Aeneas says this to his men after the shipwreck that put them on the shores of Africa)

I was looking through some George photos (from 1987) when I noticed something: he was not wearing a wedding ring. Naturally my curiosity was aroused and I went looking through all the George pics I had on hand, and in not one of them was he wearing a wedding ring.
So…
If someone can show me a photo of George wearing a ring, or conclusively prove that he did or didn’t wear them ever, I will be grateful.
The Fiendish Harrifan’s curiosity must be satisfied!
