NANANANANANA NANANANA ISN’T IT A PITYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
I don’t hear Jealous Guy but IIAP does remind me of some other song.

Is it just me, or is there something oddly similar about certain parts of Isn’t It A Pity and Jealous Guy ?
Actually I’m listening to it now and realizing it was the live version with Eric Clapton that brought Jealous Guy to mind…
Don’t know if that makes a difference
(such a divine song though)

2020 mixes for certain songs on All Things Must Pass have been released, which is a fact I only just discovered today as I was remembering George on the anniversary of his passing. I’ll be posting them with my thoughts in the appropriate threads.
This one is pretty similar to the original mix, but clearer. There’s some twangly guitar in the right channel that’s a lot less swamped and I like that, it’s nice. And the slide guitar is cleaner, allowing us to appreciate George’s delicate playing. And you can actually hear the strings being strings and not just a “fmwahhhh” of sound. I think they did a good job cleaning it up without making it totally dry, because it works very well as a big, ponderous production imo, but it’s nice to hear the elements properly.

Definitely not been paying attention @Beatlebug. It’s not certain songs. ATMP had a 50th Anniversary release back in August, a full remix of the original album on two discs, with a further three of demos and outtakes. 70 tracks in all.

Nope I haven’t
This playlist I’m looking at on YouTube Music only has certain songs marked as 2020 mixes, I demand compensation for deceptive marketing
At some point I’ll wander through the demos as well, I suppose.
