One thing about George is that he has a magical ability to produce fantastic music, so I’ll make just do five (had to change to ten once I started the list), and I won’t even touch All Things Must Pass . In no particular order.
Don’t Let Me Wait Too Long
Give Me Love
Miss Odell
Blow Away
Tired Of the Midnight Blue
Love Comes To Everyone
Dark Sweet Lady
Save The World
I Got My Mind Set On You
Any Road

Mmmh… Probably “”Blow Away”, “Soft-Hearted Hanna” and “Shanghai Surprise”. Oh, and “Cloud Nine ”.
“Forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit” (“Perhaps one day it will be a pleasure to look back on even this”; Virgil, The Aeneid, Book 1, line 203, where Aeneas says this to his men after the shipwreck that put them on the shores of Africa)

See Yourself

All of these songs touch me on a personal level. They are not just good tunes but much more.

I have a good few Desert Island George songs, it’s difficult to narrow them down.
Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp
Try Some, Buy Some
Soft-Hearted Hana,
Faster
Someplace Else
Any Road
I generally like the songs with a less-produced vocal, gives his natural voice plenty of time to shine rather than it being hid by layers of noise.

I agree about your production comments. (I thought it was just me because I’m getting old).
I’m going to try and do a fav song from each album list on the 25th. For now, I’ve been listening every morning to a looped version of the Shiva chant at the end of Brainwashed. After 15 minutes I feel like I’ve been hangin’ out with George.

In order to properly choose my current favorite song from each album, I am enjoying a marathon listen. 11 albums (skipping Electronic Sound ) featuring 134 songs is about 8 hours of music. Here are the You Tube playlists (select “Watch on You Tube” to see the song lists) if anyone wants to join me. The only song that is predetermined is Give Me Love, my all time favorite which won’t change. Btw-I believe the guitar overdubs for Give Me Love were completed at the Friar Park Studio 50 years ago this week.

I’m saving my marathon for Georgemas proper… which has been difficult, as there have been quite a few times in the last few days when I’ve really wanted to put a Harrialbum on
However, I can probably pick a favorite from each album off the top of my head (save Wonderwall and Electronic ) – let’s see, here goes:
All Things Must Pass : this one is hard because there are just so dang many good tunes OWIE OUCH THIS HURTS but this is one of my favorite Harrisongs of all time so… “Run Of The Mill ” with an honorable mention to “Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)”
Living In The Material World : “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)”, of course. That was easy (if only because “Miss O’Dell” is technically not on the album ). Next –
Dark Horse : “It Is ‘He’ (Jai Sri Krishna)” – A bright spot on a rough album
Extra Texture : “You” – this is not one of my favorite albums but this is a fun tune
Thirty-Three & 1/3: “Crackerbox Palace”
George Harrison : This one’s also difficult because I love at least three-fifths of this album and very much like the rest. I guess I’ll go with “Your Love Is Forever”, but “Blow Away” could’ve easily taken the top spot and “Soft-Hearted Hana” deserves an honorable mention.
Somewhere In England : My favorite song from this album (“Sat Singing”) got booted off the album (“Oh! How rude!” – C-3P0) , so I’ll go with “Life Itself”.
Gone Troppo : “That’s The Way It Goes” with honorable mentions to “Greece” and “Unknown Delight” (I’m a sucker for a good ballad by a doting dad for his small child ).
Cloud Nine : “This Is Love”, by a mile
Brainwashed: “Marwa Blues”
