Hi! I agree with @thewordislove94 , I only sleeping has a wonderful riff, I can spend hours analyzing it! But I must say, the riff And I love her, gave a new face to the music, and fit perfectly! George once again overcame his musical ability. I would also cite the soil that George did in Mr. Moonlight, that George Martin chose to replace it. Particularly, I prefer this other version

^ I’m happy to see Old Brown Shoe in that list. I know this thread is for Beatles guitar solos, but I don’t know why How Do You Sleep? is left off of the list above.
I’d have to say my personal favorite is Old Brown Shoe (hence my happy reaction to its inclusion on the list above.) Honorable mention for Let It Be and Something .

Not sure if it’s John or George, but that high treble guitar solo @ the 48 second mark in Nowhere Man is just *** awesome!
Also the intro to I Me Mine with the Organ is very nice!
BEATLES Music gives me Eargasms!

If I Needed Someone is really pleasant on the ears, Fixing A Hole is badass, and I love how filthy One After 909 sounds. As for The Night Before , which someone accredited to Paul upthread, I’m pretty sure that was played by both George and Paul, an octave apart, unless it’s since been debunked. Absolutely love that solo, so quirky sounding. Anyone want to guess who played the squeaky part and who played the bass-y part on that?

Ahh, George Harrison , the 2nd most underrated guitarist of all time (next to Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath). I love how his guitar playing and I will gladly give out 1 per album of my favorites.
Please Please Me : I Saw Her Standing There (NOTE: this is my least favorite album by them (which isn’t saying much) and I don’t listen to it that much)
With The Beatles : Till There Was You
A Hard Day’s Night : Can’t Buy Me Love (the first solo I ever learned)
Beatles For Sale : Baby’s In Black
Help !: You’re Going To Lose That Girl
Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band: Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) (outro, there aren’t a lot of solos on Beatles For Sale –Magical Mystery Tour and if there is, there mostly done by Paul)
Magical Mystery Tour : All You Need Is Love
The Beatles: Dear Prudence (outro)
Yellow Submarine : It’s All Too Much (not sure whether it was Paul or George on this one)
Honorable Mention: The End

The Let It Be could stand as its own song. Its such a beautiful melody. George knew that he didn’t need to shred to get the job done.

Everything on Abbey Road , pretty much — though the very top two fro that album would come down to Something and Octopus’s Garden . Also of note are Can’t Buy Me Love , Drive My Car , Nowhere Man , Hey Bulldog *…
George was an excellent melodic soloist.
*There is dispute over whether this solo was played by George, John, Paul, Brian Epstein’s ghost, the Eighteenth Beatle… I don’t know, but it’s a brilliant solo.

Sorry, his best solo ever belongs to his solo album George Harrison ; the song is Blow Away. But if it has to be with The Beatles the, uhm, probably Something .

I love all of George’s solo’s on the AHDN album, especially the solo from Can’t Buy Me Love . The perfect followup to Paul’s manic scream!

I think Something is probably my favourite because it’s soulful.
I’m Only Sleeping might be second though. Sounds awesome and it was very innovative.
Pretty much all of his solos are great.
