There were rumors of Dhani, Sean, James, and Zak starting a band together. It didn’t happen though (thank god.)

But they would spell “Beatles” as “Beatlez” instead because z’s are cooler than the s.

Sad news for all, Dhani and Sola are divorcing.
It seems very sudden, they always looked very happy in public together but I guess you can never trust a public image.
My question is, who is getting to keep the dogs?

That’s a very sad question, ASJ. I hope they live close to each other and are able to have half custody.

First Dhani post of the New Year (yay)
And suitable for @Beatlebug Dhaniboy talks about his love for Strats in general but particularly The American Professional.
feature=youtu.be
Good to see him more active and out and about, for quite a bit of time last year we’d hear nothing for ages and then we’d just get a cryptic message, which I assume was the result of his marriage difficulties and it eventually breaking down but it’s great to see him going back to his love of music.
Also, he’s changed up his look quite a bit, less long, shaggy hair and band tees and more simple designs with a stand-out piece (in this case the leather jacket), and a haircut reminiscent of his late 90’s-mid 00’s hair. I’m not 100% sure if I’m into it though but it’s just nice to see him happy.
…..so…..album out soon D? No? ……ok 🙁

I found a funny fake news site that does a ‘copy and paste’ of a celebrity name and puts it into a random article. Here is some on Dhani:
Dhani Harrison goes ‘Gangnam Style’
Asked which celebrity he would like to see go ‘Gangnam Style,’ the singer PSY told the journalists : Dhani Harrison. Since then, the 38-year-old musician is said to have been secretly practising Gangnam Style dance. For weeks.
English news reported earlier this year that PSY (the South Korean rapper behind YouTube’s most-viewed video) chuckled at the thought of Dhani Harrison hopping around the dance floor, doing his famous horse-riding, ‘Gangnam Style’ dance.
A call that did not fall on deaf ears…
An insider recently admitted that the musician has been secretly practising Gangnam Style for the past couple of weeks. “Dhani Harrison spent hours working on his dance moves out on the balcony every night, riding an imaginary horse. I have never seen him so dedicated about something before,” said a source close to the musician.
Petition’s goal: ‘Get Dhani Harrison to dance live on TV’
Some fans recently launched an online petition to see Dhani Harrison performing ‘Gangnam Style’ live on English national television.
We can’t wait to see it.
Dhani Harrison Highest Paid Musician In The World
It’s been a rough year for the musician, but at least he has his millions of dollars to ease the pain. 38-year-old Dhani Harrison has taken the No. 1 spot on People With Money’s top 10 highest-paid musicians for 2017 with an estimated $75 million in combined earnings.
In 2014 it looked like the musician’s spectacular career was winding down. Suddenly, he was back on top. People With Money reports on Friday (January 27) that Harrison is the highest-paid musician in the world, pulling in an astonishing $75 million between December 2015 and December 2016, a nearly $40 million lead over his closest competition.
People With Money’s factors
In compiling this yearly list, the magazine considers factors such as upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work.
The English musician has an estimated net worth of $215 million. He owes his fortune to smart stock investments, substantial property holdings, lucrative endorsement deals with CoverGirl cosmetics. He also owns several restaurants (the “Fat Harrison Burger” chain) in London, a Football Team (the “Windsor Angels”), has launched his own brand of Vodka (Pure Wonderharrison – England), and is tackling the juniors market with a top-selling perfume (With Love from Dhani) and a fashion line called “Dhani Harrison Seduction”.
The ranking is significant for many Dhani fans, who have been waiting for his triumphant return to the glory days for what seems like a lifetime.
Ha Dhani Harrison Seduction…..I’d wear it.
Dhani Harrison’s Dog Recovering from Surgery
Dhani Harrison’s adored labrador retriever “Spinee” has undergone a risky surgery on Thursday and is luckily beginning the slow process of recovery, according to English media reports. The 38-year-old musician is said to have received waves and waves and support for Spinee, as he offered his Twitter followers an update on pooch’s status regularly.
Dhani Harrison is one busy daddy
The yellow labrador retriever underwent a risky procedure at the London Veterinary Hospital on Thursday (January 26, 2017), prompting the musician to ask his followers to send well wishes her way.
“May I ask one favor? My dog Spinee needs your prayers,” he Tweeted on Thursday. “She just came out of a difficult surgery 20 minutes ago … She is my beloved.”
Dhani Harrison’s Twitter feed has kept his fans and followers updated
Throughout the night the English musician posted updates to his numerous followers, about his dog’s delicate condition. “Spinee came out of the anesthetic well … her vital signs are good … your prayers are working,” he Tweeted.
Dhani Harrison continued tweeting about his pup’s prognosis throughout the night and it appears the pooch is on the mend. By Friday morning, things continued to look good. “The Spinee Report: Her vital signs are good… pink gums … sleeping peacefully… recovering as hoped,” he said. “Not out of the woods yet. Prayers working 🙂”
Prayers working
As Dhani Harrison’s Twitter followers sent messages of support, he showed his gratitude. “With prayers like this I feel confident Spinee will be fine,” he wrote. “Thank you more than you will ever know.”
Here’s to hoping Spinee has a successful and speedy recovery!
Dhani Harrison, TIME’s Person of The Year
According to a well-informed source, George Harrison ‘s son Dhani Harrison is leading the race to become Time magazine’s Person of the Year in 2017. But while the musician’s fans are thrilled with the news, many people hold a very different opinion.
Why not Harrison for Person of the Year?
The list of nominees for Time magazine’s Person of the Year is always an eclectic mix of world leaders, pop culture icons, buzzworthy names, and human rights activists. The unexpected inclusion of the 38-year-old musician, as a 2017 nominee has therefore sparked controversy and debate.
“What makes Harrison so important is the potential and influence he now has, rather than anything he has already done,” said a panelist who preferred to remain anonymous, adding that earlier this month, the musician have already been named ‘English Of The Year’ by some major English newspapers and even ‘Windsor Citizen Of The Year’ by the readers of a local gazette in Windsor (Dhani Harrison’s hometown).
Social Reactions to TIME’s Person of the Year
A representative for the musician was not immediately available for comment, but the announcement generated immediate reaction on Twitter:
“Dhani Harrison Named Person of the Year Is No ‘Surprise’.”
— @TheNewsEditor, 27 Jan 2017
“Great choice! Long overdue recognition for his talents. #LoveDhani”
— @BarbaraHeyboer, 27 Jan 2017
“Past recipients include Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler … then why not Dhani Harrison?”
— @TheClassicObserver, 27 Jan 2017
Could 2017 officially be the Year of Dhani Harrison?
Still, TIME’s editors will make the final decision about who will grace the magazine’s cover as its 2017 Person of the Year.
Who do you think should be TIME’s Person of the Year for 2017?
There are about 20 other great articles all like the above on the website!

Dhani gave the induction speech for ELO (Jeff Lynne) at the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies. I’m assuming he also jammed with the inductees (there was a Chuck Berry tribute) but I can’t find any video of him as I don’t think the official show has aired yet. Here is an audience video of Dhani’s speech (he looks happy) :

That reminds me. The other day I was watching George and Ringo’s interview from Aspel & Co the other day, and George said Dhani (who was 9 at the time) was a big fan of Chuck Berry and asked George why he didn’t play Roll Over Beethoven or some other of Chuck’s songs at The Prince’s Trust concert!

Thanks Sir! I found the finale (Neil Young’s Rockin In The Free World) but there are so many guitarists on stage I can’t really find Dhani. I’ll keep my eye out though – it would be cool if he sang Roll Over Beethoven in the Berry tribute.

The #1 living person I want to hear sing that song would be Dhani. It’s the next best thing to hearing George himself.

^ Ah how cool I didn’t know that campaign was still going!
I have been terrible for Dhani updates recently because as previously stated I am physically and mentally wrecked atm (statistics exam went well btw, and thanks to all the well-wishers ).
But a little quick one:
Dhani met up with Julian a few days ago:

I’ve been exploring a bit of thenewno2’s stuff lately — I need to listen to one of their albums properly — and I’m liking what I’m hearing.
This is cool too
(Is it just me, or is that a definite Georgeism at ~1:20?)
