I saw this (again) today and a couple of observations:
1) Even though George has the nickname “The Quiet Beatle”, he seems to have been an affable fellow who appears to have amassed an impressive array of close friends around him who really loved him. Maybe more so than any other Beatle, although maybe not Ringo.
2) I’ve always thought it was kind of interesting near the end, when they play “Wah Wah ” with McCartney onstage. I wonder if Paul was a little uncomfortable about it, since there are reports the song was directed toward him, giving him a headache (Wah Wah ). If so, he was a good sport about it. It seems like there is a little feeling of naughtiness going around when they’re playing it, as if George might have enjoyed the joke of playing the song with Paul there.
3) It’s hard to watch stuff like this without getting a little emotional. I was telling myself to just enjoy the music, but I couldn’t help but get a little teary eyed here and there.

One of my best friends and I went to a screening of this in early January last year. It was a Tuesday night and the third or fourth screening that had been done at that location, so we just about had the place to ourselves. We danced in our seats thru the whole thing, and had a good old time

Wonder if anyone has managed to isolate Paul and Ringo’s contributions from the concert? Be interesting to hear.
Edit:
Someone has had a go at Something : Something – Concert For George (Isolated Vocals) – YouTube
