Time for an entry in the Zigtionary… It’s been a while!
PWT (Acronym) = Posting While Tired
Used to excuse any slightly incoherent phrasing or explanations that a member makes while posting under the influence of tired.
Commonly used at the end of my posts as night falls (EST)!
@Beatlebug This is the wonderful collection of forum lingo… (No, not you Ringo!) …that I mentioned elsewhere!

Thanks @Mr. Kite! I saw this earlier while trawling the forum, and meant to pay it a visit, but I didn’t get round to it till now. I LOVE it!
I also particularly like the term “Forumpudlians”. Elsewhere I’ve seen “forumians”– not good at all. But “Forumpudlians” is a nice Beatley touch. It makes me feel Scousier.
And now, may I suggest an entry into the lexicon?
Beatleful adj.
1. That indescribable, chemical magic that makes certain Beatles songs just have that.. well… thing.* 2. The state of being full of Beatleyness.
And how about “to Pattiefy”? Ask Mr. Kite about this one.
*An’ you know whut ah me-ean.

Nice one, and I’d like to append to it my own similar specific variation, PWH. The “h” is for…”hungry”. Or something else.

OBD is another one to add that I believe originated in someone’s forum introduction.
OBD (Acronym) = Obsessive Beatles Disorder
The continuous want need to listen to as many available Beatles recordings and learn as much about the band as possible.
Ex. Most of us on the forum suffer from OBD.

I was thinking that maybe @Beatlebug was PWT all the time, then I thought maybe her name was accurate, then I realised I love her posts so that maybe it was all an evil plan to get us interested
Just kidding with you SG – I love having you around this place and look forward to your interview with HKL with GREAT interest.

I think that might have to do with ‘Pattiefy.’

PBC – Pointless Bootleg Comparisons. The desire to get another doubtful collection because its sound quality might be better than the other 10 you have of the same thing. Also applies to thinking you may have found a new thing but it is in fact the same thing but renamed. That’s how I discovered I had the same versions of Dig It across 7 different collections.

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I didn’t get that until about 42 hours after I read it. Then I laughed my head off.
Does the natural effect of listening to the orchestral climaxes in A Day In The Life count?

Edit: I would also like to contribute “Zaggering”, which is where a user sees a hilarious post and spontaneously bursts out into wild, hysteric laughter that can induce friends and family to question said user’s sanity.

I hear you, not just bootlegs, but CD box sets & LP box sets! Where does it end????? I’ll tell you where, at my house!!!!! That’s why I finally sold off most of my stuff and just have it all on my iTunes. (Except of course for my Original Parlophone/Apple UK records, which will stay with me until I move on)….

The Anthologies have really improved bootlegs sound quality at least, I just wish they weren’t masquerading as something new on half of them.

Should I induct “‘piph’nied” into the Hall of (BB lingo) Fame?
‘Piph’nied: Verb, past tense.
1. The act of having had an epiphany. Usually comes during a gruelling game of “Name the Beatles’ song that goes with this picture”.
Editing in favour of double-posting:
@tted: Verb, past tense.
When a poster precedes a poster’s username with the @ symbol, thereby notifying the @tted”poster of being @tted.
Example: @trcanberra, “@tted” is now an official Beatles Bible word.

Have you the requisite ten signatures, @Beatlebug? Sometimes words are so good – eg. ‘piph’nied – that we just accept them. Other times, atted instead of the correct @tted, for instance, are only allowed with ten supporting signatures and a rubber stamp from Joe. Until you have collected those, I’m afraid the official BB word remains @tted!
