thread one, ‘Setting An Avatar Pic’, posts 1 -> 12.
thread two, ‘Avatar Problem’, posts 13 -> 25.
thread three, ‘Avatar Sizes’, posts 26 -> 50.
Find a picture you like on the web and save it to your computer. Open up the Beatles Bible forum and click the forum ‘Profile’ button. Then click ‘Edit Avatar’ and then click ‘Browse’.
Look up the picture you saved and click ‘OK’. Scroll down the page and click on ‘Update Profile’ and then refresh the page.
You can find good pictures here, here, or here. But really, it’s only limited by how you phrase your Google queries. You’re not making money off it, so no one should care what your avatar is.

Offline i'm having the same problem, the forum software won't let me eliminate my signature. the update button doesn't update my signature, though the preview button appears to work correctly. right now i have an rudimentary emoticon, i would prefer absolutely nothing. 
on second thought i like this just fine.

Offline Hi. Could you try again please? I had to change some permissions to allow people to upload/change things on the server. Hopefully I’ve got it right, but possibly not. I managed to break the entire forum while trying to make it work – oops.

Offline I thought it was fixed. We’ve had new people join who have been able to set their avatar pics. I don’t really know what might be the cause – if I get time I’ll look into it.
