I’m not sure if this is where I should put this. If it isn’t, just move it to the appropriate place.
Anyway, my question is… How do you get an animated avatar like @parlance’s? I had an animated gif(nothing much, just Christmas lights blinking) that I tried tp put as my picture and it just appeared as a still of the first frame.

Can’t anymore, Joe got rid of the feature to link moving avatars due to lag.
We’re able to upload gif avatars, but they don’t move for some reason. Wonder if a mod added a GiF avatar, would they’re gif avatar move?

Offline I thought that GIF avatars were still allowed if they were less than a certain filesize.

Offline I just use the “Attachments” tab at the bottom of the posting box, drop the picture into the second box that opens beneath, and press upload.

Offline Ya, the forum attachments are really great. I have like 100 attachments on the forum. I use it for the forums too which is free advertisement for this forum.
It is easy to use and you are able to veiw all your previous attachments.

Offline There is a way to opt out of mentions for people who aren’t a fan of them
1. Go into your profile
2. In your profile, click the options tag.
3. It should already be in Global options but if not, go to global options
4. Click the Opt out of receiving Mentions notifications box, it is the first option.
5. Click the update global options button and it should save from there.
