Good Dog Nigel. Arf, Arf, he goes, a merry sight. Our little hairy friend. Arf, Arf, upon the lampost bright, arfing around the bend. Nice dog! Goo boy, waggie tail and beg. Clever Nigel, jump for joy

[Incidentally, since this game's been going on for so long, I have a proposal: How about we continue on from right here (with “Baby Blue”), and the first person to manage to link back to the original song – “I'm Happy Just To Dance With You” – be declared THE WINNER! And thereby winning the right to choose a song to start a whole new round; and maybe making it a bit more challenging by declaring the words “a” and “the” inadmissable for linking purposes? How's that sound?]

Im happy with anything but agree that a and the make it far too easily. Would also like to add that the artist doesnt count as its very easy going from Beatle song to beatle song and no half words would be good (ie no Sunday Girl followed by Here Comes The Sun ), but that wouldnt be practicle 15 pages on from here with newbies plus there are then too many rules and it gets complicated.
We can easily link it back in 2 steps. For You Blue – The Beatles being the first. Shouldnt be difficult getting back to I'm Happy Just To Dance With You from there.
Anyway, next song.
For You Blue – The Beatles.

I would actually quite like to see the end of this thread. It's just a load of song titles, isn't it? 60 pages of them…
How about we declare everybody the winner and call time? Or would that make me hugely unpopular? Let me know your thoughts.

I agree. I generally just ignore this thread if I'm rushing. It isn't essential by any means.

While we’re discussing these things, how about the “What are you listening to now?” thread? Again, it’s just a list of songs to me. I’d be interested in hearing what new music was exciting people, what recent discoveries they’d made, but just a song title doesn’t do that. Thoughts on that?

If a new thread on what new music people were getting into created (or revived, whatever) then yes. If not, I kinda disagree. It’s a snapshot into people at a time. Maybe it’s not “essential” but I think it makes people who wouldn’t think to listen to a song go “hey (insert former here) is listening. Why don’t I give it a try, seeing as how they typically have great taste.” But I wouldn’t shed a tear if it closed.

Im not a big fan of the what youre listening to right now thread so it wouldnt be a big loss to me. At least there is a game aspect to the sonk link thread, and i thought that had been killed off and wasnt missing it.
I prefer the idea of what new stuff youre found discovered/getting into as that might open up to discussion as well as tie in with the 'I Just realised how lucky i am' thread.
