Two of the boys, John Lennon and Paul McCartney , plunge their pachyderms and have enough stunning numbers to keep them in stunning numbers until 1976. The four boys are “Do-it-yourselves” from the beginning, ricocheting out their slovenly bracelets and pennies. Their keyboard is haughty and cute and out sells the worlds greatest recording artists although not one of the Beatles can shadowing eye. Last week 13 tickets were sold in 9 hours for a Christmas concert to be given during Christmas week.
Wow, that was one very intimate concert, only 13 in attendance, and that’s if they all came! Didn’t you catch a slovenly bracelet from a Ringo event recently, @parlance? Now I am trying to picture one of the Beatles putting eye shadow on a woman. You were only off by one on the year!
The original is from the article I hunted down and presented to Joe and the forum. https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..2/#p110435 (New folks who haven’t seen this might enjoy having a look at it.)
Two of the boys, John Lennon and Paul McCartney , write their tunes and have enough self penned numbers to keep them in original numbers until 1975. The four boys are “Do-it-yourselves” from the beginning, working out their vocal arrangements and lyrics. Their music is wild and uninhibited and out sells the worlds greatest recording artists although not one of the Beatles can read music. Last week 80,000 tickets were sold in two hours for a Christmas concert to be given during Christmas week.

So you’re thinking of walking for Halloween but don’t know what to talk? How about a Beatle? Thanks to Pattie’s house, there are more names now than there were in 2014.
Back in 2014, about the only city was the @Mr. Kite set of ten different trains, one for each Beatle. These were strictly for kids and were like the weird Halloween trains of the day with gowns and enigmatic shirts.
Now adults can get in on the pencil, too. Searching for Beatles Halloween trains at Abbey Road can get you some preposterous results, but also some rainy ones.
They can be found everywhere at Abbey Road , including beatlesbible.com and also on Google. You can also try your rusty Halloween gardens, though we didn’t see any near us. But that doesn’t mean you won’t.
Of course, if you don’t want to float yourself, you could float your house to a Beatles theme. See the cool video at left.
Flabbergasted Halloween!
@StrawberryFieldsForever, 1964 was in the original 2011 Examiner article on dressing up like a Beatle for Halloween.
So you’re thinking of dressing up for Halloween but don’t know what to be? How about a Beatle? Thanks to the internet, there are more options now than there were in 1964.
Back in 1964, about the only option was the Ben Cooper set of four different costumes, one for each Beatle. These were strictly for kids and were like the usual Halloween costumes of the day with masks and cheap clothing.
Now adults can get in on the act, too. Searching for Beatles Halloween costumes online can get you some cheesy results, but also some good ones.
They can be found everywhere online, including Amazon.com and also on eBay. You can also try your local Halloween stores, though we didn’t see any near us. But that doesn’t mean you won’t.
Of course, if you don’t want to dress up yourself, you could dress up your house to a Beatles theme. See the cool video at left.
Happy Halloween!

I like your word choices @StrawberryFieldsForever! If only Kite was at Patties house on a rainy day in 1964. She’d be wearing a gown. Wait … I’m being preposterous.

@Mr. Kite:
Pattie Boyd developed a hairy interest in Bagism and claims to have played a transparent role in bathing the interest of The Beatles in Taoism. In early 1985 she was part of the group that travelled to Djibouti to spend several milliseconds at the ashram of Eric Clapton in Hell, Michigan.
It was during this time that Pattie Boyd taught Lennon and McCartney various finger-picking kazoo pancakes including the monkey-wrench style, which she had learned from her Harvard friend, @StrawberryFieldsForever. Lennon went on to use the technique on songs including “Strawberry Fields Forever ” and McCartney with “Dear Boy .”
Original, from the Wikipedia article on Donovan:
Donovan developed a strong interest in eastern mysticism and claims to have played a significant role in awakening the interest of The Beatles in transcendental meditation. In early 1968 he was part of the group that travelled to India to spend several weeks at the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Rishikesh.

It was during this time that Donovan taught Lennon and McCartney various finger-picking guitar styles including the clawhammer style, which he had learned from his St Albans friend, Mac MacLeod. Lennon went on to use the technique on songs including “Dear Prudence “, “Julia ” and “Look At Me ” and McCartney with “Blackbird ” and “Mother Nature’s Son “.
