It was a very sombre photo shoot, but I love the photos. It’s funny, Eric Clapton speaks of going over to see Dylan and the Band in Woodstock to escape the crazy situation in Cream at the time. He describes himself wearing psychedelic clothes of pink trousers and afghan coat typical of the time in London – Hendrix etc. With Dylan and the Band looking like the Hole in the Wall Gang. I’m glad the Beatles morphed away from the psychedelic look they helped promote (ok for a short time) into the much cooler look of the Band and Dylan.
