December 20, 1958: 18 year-old John Lennon , 16 year-old Paul McCartney and 15 year-old George Harrison appeared as The Quarry Men at the wedding reception for George’s older brother, Harry. The event was held at the Harrison family home at 25 Upton Green in Liverpool.

Horst is not the true 5th Beatle, brother Fred may have been though.

Does this include solo magazine covers, @sigh butterfly?
Can’t include my all time favourite magazine cover unfortunately, as I can’t find it on the internet.
It was a 1984 cover of weekly London entertainment and events listing magazine Time Out. Coincided with Give My Regards To Broad Street , critically seeing Paul at one of his lowest points, and the cover headline was, the lettering style Jamie Reid (did most of the Sex Pistols sleeve artwork) cut-out letters and words from newspapers: “PAUL McCARTNEY: Do You Still Need Me Now It’s ’84?”
The picture of Paul, a typical publicity photo of the time but heavily reimagined by the artist, who may even have been Jamie Reid, was a head and shoulders, wearing a punk leather jacket – studded and with hanging chains, Sid Vicious style; lipstick on; rouged cheeks; eyeliner and mascara; blue eyelids; and a mohican, multi-coloured – red, white, and blue, if recall correctly.
Brilliant cover. Just wish I could find it…
Anyway, I couldn’t so…

Hi @Ron Nasty , yes solo Beatle’s mag covers are welcome. I think I found The Time Out cover you mentioned, but it’s part of a collage so it is kind of small. I’m sure a full size version will turn up before we hit 30 images.

Life magazine, Aug. 28, 1964. This was the first cover I collected (stolen from my parents subscription pile).

Yeah, that’s definitely it, @sigh butterfly. Thanks. Not quite as I remembered but it’s been 30+ years since I saw it and I got most of the details right. I love it because it’s just such a striking reimagination of Paul. More New Romantic than the Punk I recalled.
