^Totally agree, mmm. Should we send a letter as a group to the Life headquarters?

I think all those on here who are in America should go and have a protest outside Life’s headquarters. The perfect song has been written already (below, just use the Ringo verse) – 10 mins of singing that and those making the decisions at Life will relent, we might even get an apology for such a dreadful oversight. Good luck.

I like that song. Hope that doesn’t reflect too badly on me.

Via Reddit, huge poster for sale that was given to the first few customers to buy the Anthology book. It’s over 3 feet in length.

Awesome !!! Thanks for the info !!! I’ve been hanging on to this poster for the past 25 years after I found it in a dank basement filled with old restaurant juke box components. I’ve always debated if it was worth framing or selling, the condition is not great however, some scratches and water damage, but it’s a large reproduction, approx. 36 x 24 inches.
How does one go about getting something like this appraised, and is it even worth the effort ?

It all depends on the kind of poster it is and the extent of the scratches and water damage, if its your average poster than i doubt its worth selling but folks will buy Beatles regardless of the condition. It’s certainly a big poster. As to who to go to get an appraisal i have no idea but someone else on here will know. Feel free however to send me a PM and i’ll give you my address so you can send me the poster and i promise that after a few years (or decades) i’ll send it back. Just to help out of course, nothing else.

Thanks meanmistermustard, the question is Academic really, as I don’t think I’d part with it. Not that I’m a big collector or anything, but I am a fan. Besides, condition being the bigger part of value, the damage probably takes away most of the potential. I like it because it seems to be a shot not widely distributed, different then the one you posted. I did a quick google image search and found a few more shots of MArch 28th, 1965 but I didn’t find the one on this poster. I like that it’s uncommon.
I probably have a more value with my green apple White Album LP with the intact poster…And no, I’m not sending you that one either…

Well then
It must be cool having such a large poster and finding its not that common, not surprised yo’d find it difficult giving it up or selling. I have a BFS poster which i think is the same size (its massive, about 2 1/2 times the size of those standard posters you get in HMV), condition much worse than your TYLS however due to years of being ripped apart by pins and blu-tack.

Here are two “Where’s Waldo” type cartoons, where you try to find the Beatles song titles. The smaller one has at least 43, and the bigger one 100. If you download them, you can zoom in on them and they enlarge clearly. I got these off facebook. Contact me if you have any questions (although I think this is pretty straightforward Sorry I don’t have an exact number for the smaller one, I counted the ones a few people found in the comments to the fb post, but I can’t find the post now (people have been sharing a ton of things on my feed and i paged down forever to get to 17 hours ago…let alone 48 hours! @Joe please put these in the pics archive
