Offline Bobby Cantrall. ( far right ), bass, was with Johnny and the Hurricanes. He worked with the Hurricanes while the Beatles were in Hamburg, Germany at the Star-Club. He has several pictures at the Star-Club, with 2 of the Beatles. Bobby got me a guitar-playing job with the Hurricanes in 1963. I worked with them during the Beatle era. We were billing ourselves as the American Beatles and recording vocals for the first time. This band was known for instrumentals and decided it was time to update their act to more vocals.. Johnny and Bobby have passed on. I am 70 and greying at the temples.

I am sorry that this picture is dark. I think that this picture was taken at a coffee shop in Hamburg called Chung-Ou’s in 1960, but please correct me if I am wrong.

And I was informed the “hat” is actually “a knotted hanky of the kind (stereotypically) worn by the working classes of Paul’s dad’s generation on their annual day trip to the seaside.”

I found this on Instagram today and I’d never seen it before, though I’d share:Couldn’t be more correct.
I wasn’t sure where to put it so feel free to move it if it’s in the wrong place (anyone who can).
It looks like 1964 to me, possibly the AHDN period, especially George’s suit.
